  1. $$$ Revenue! Yes better driver education is paramount. Way too easy to get a licence to drive. This morning I was travelling down a certain major arterial, A police car travels past me at 110km/h, I know this because I followed behind for a few km's as did other drivers. To my amusement, another TOG unit was stationed a few kilometers further along with a radar gun. The speeding police vehicle was provoking drivers to speed as well so they get caught by the unit waiting with the radar. But don't blame the police, they're only following orders handed down by a greedy government...
  2. Well MOPS are what you clean the floor with and MOPS pin is what holds the Mop's head to the MOP's stick :P
  3. I don't think Melbourne Stivo's will ever hit lift in winter... :P
  4. They share the same front suspension, but the Celica has the multi-link rear independant and the corolla has the POS torsion beam.
  5. May be a good idea to check that your intake pipe and vacuum hoses are properly attached and that there's no leaks.
  6. NICE ! :D Getting around with the Veilside front is going to be more a challenge now :)
  7. I think Danz did a DIY guide some time ago on Grounding Wires. He used 4g wire but you can use 8g because the 4g connectors aren't as easy to come by.
  8. You can touch up, you just need heat proof paint available anywhere.
  9. So does this mean the super sleeper wagon is all finished now? Edit: Ahh yes it is, Love the plates !

    GTi 13" Rims

So what you really need is 13" steelies ( Or maybe alloys of some sort ) from a Toyota AE92 or earlier Corolla or anything else with a 4x100pcd. Budda has a set of starlet 13"x5" in the Buy/Sell section which may be worth a try.
  11. This is common on most small cars, because they're usually fitted with smaller batteries and alternators. The best you can do to minimise this is ensure your terminals are clean and free from corrosion and check the battery fluid in the cells from time to time unless you have a dry cell.
  12. What rice factor can you possibly add to a custom turbo manifold ?
  13. :) Coming along nicely! Just a question what's 40nb/35nb? Is that the thickness of the pipe?
  14. :D Well done ! Great times guys!
  15. Yeah I know, my warranty experied and the car is barely run in
  16. Yeah with pink leather seats to suit and Vinyl stickers "Xoom's Flying Boob" along the side :P
  17. If it's only scratched, there are many places around that will repair it for around $50. If it's chipped or cracked that's a different story
  18. :P Wheel Whore ! Very Sexy, if they go missing IT WAS ME
  19. Cool - Can't wait to see the result, who knows maybe all of TOCAU will be buying from the guy he he.
  20. :D But it's still far more entertaining in the wet he he.
  21. I've got a 23 year old Commodore, still running fine on it's original engine and everything else except for shocks and exhaust for that matter... I can change the oil and filter on it without even raising the car because everything is so accessable. I think what Azza is pointing too is modern engines are becoming a little too complex for their own good.
