  1. Yes it's quite awesome Especially sitting on 19" Brabus wheels :D The owner will soon be installing larger air intakes (It has one for each cylinder bank) so it'll be interesting to see how it goes after that. There's also a black one that sometimes fronts up at calder park on slicks and does 11's
  2. Harrop Engineering seem to be the Australian distributor for Eaton

I think the new shape looks good in 4WD but not so good in 2WD, the front overhang is very long and looks a bit weird when it's closer to the ground, But lift it up and put a set of 36's under those wheel arches and it looks tonka tough!
  4. Good Find ! Welcome to the Forum, Enjoy the 1ZZ-FE Power !!! :P
  5. No worries Shao... I'll do the cut-out in the bumper for you to fit that tip in... Now where's my tin snips and hack saw Don't worry you've got a black duco, no-one will notice the uneven cut-out :P
  6. You could also find a really nice AE86 Levin with change :). Most will have been modified though. Or a very nice BMW E30 325e ( The last of the compact 3 series )
  7. Older HSV Commodores go for dirt cheap, VS and early VT club sports go for that price range. Given the performance they represent excellent bang for your buck. Most are looked after because they are HSV's ( Look for one owned by a HDT/HSV owners club member ). Also other than the odd oil leak from the drive shaft or engine, they're quite reliable. Remember also, a HSV will come with an LSD as standard, where as most cheaper variants wont have one unless the original owner optioned one.

Fastest/Quickest ever is the 2004 AMG E55 Kompressor. It's an animal, and has got by far the best engine note ever.
  9. Personally I would just get the right muffler for the right car... no point in trying to adapt it... you will lose power, might not get the right sound and will certainly not get the full benefit of having a remus muffler. ← agree totally! ← Triple agree, If it's from a 307, it means it's specifically for that model, add it to yours and you wont get the same result as that specifically for the Corolla.
  10. I hope you're referring to the car's tail ! :P
  11. Shell Optimax because of Coles 4c discount. I find I get better fuel consumption on the 98 octane fuels so in my opinion that little extra you pay at the pump works out even steven at the end.
  12. Last time I was stuck in the City. However I did make an effort to catch up... I left the city at 11.00 and got to the last turn off at about 12.30 :D, When I got to that point with no sign of anyone I turned back for home. Speaking to Kcorro the next day, I found out I was probably 15 min away from you all, oops. So yeah I might grace everyone with my presence. :P :D Admit it, It's not the same driving the RX8 without a Silver rolla on your tail
  13. It will make no difference in the end, there isn't a CAI specific exhaust system. So you can go ahead and purchase your exhaust and then at a later time add a CAI as well. Because the two work well hand in hand, whichever you decide to add second will most probably give you the biggest gain, as was the example with Danz.
  14. :D Weather forecast for Saturday: Local early drizzle and morning fog patches clearing to a fine, cool and mostly sunny afternoon. Light to moderate south to southeasterly winds.
  15. a jump from 76.1 kw to 91.6kw, that's an olympic level high jump champion. ← That increase isn't just from the CAI though...
  16. We've also got a great GT-P series here in Australia that should get far greater coverage.
  17. Had a look at the injectors APS use 425cc injectors in their XR6 turbos up to 320kw outputs and use 510cc injectors for outputs of 320kw - 390kw. So I still believe that an injector of 300cc or less would suffice unless you're actually chasing an output of 400kw.

My sides are hurting :lol :D
  19. Yes just ask Skitzo(TRD), Danz(AEM) and Northy(TRD)
  20. Mate do a search - especially on a topic like wheels - it's been covered so many times. Most people are running 17x7 with various tyre width and profiles ranging from 205/45/, 215/45/, 215/40/. There's some who have 18x7 with 215/35. IMO if you want to keep it legal I would stick to 17x7 or 18x7. I wouldn't go to 7.5 in width as most likely it will rub unless your willing to have your wheel arches rolled. Also think about the roads you travel on, unless they're smooth, riding on 19's ( Although it would look the goods) would shake your tooth fillings loose.
