Happy mothers day I think this thread is halarious!, read it from the beginning...
  2. It's just a personal thing and what people are happy with. To date I've never had any problems with the dealers and the changes I've made. In fact last two times I've serviced at MCT, they complemented me on the car and also when I went to pick up my car, It was parked at the very front of the Service Department instead of the back as usual :)
  3. Don't stress too much. If something's wrong, you point it out and they fix it. Just enjoy the fact you're getting a new car :) Nothing like looking down and the odometer only has 25km on it and you know every other km will be put on by yourself, preferably on nice flowing, twisting and undulating roads. yeah!
  4. 500cc Injectors :o That's pretty big to my knowledge, wouldn't something under 300cc do the job? I could be wrong. By the way been doing some research myself on the TRD 1zz-fe supercharger. It is an Eaton unit generating 7.5lbs. The fifth injector activates at high rpm's to firstly give an intercooling effect and secondly to ensure the engine doesn't lean out at high rpms. It does also have an integrated by-pass circuit so that the unit actually disengages at low rpm's ensuring that fuel efficiency isn't overly compromised. I'm still having trouble finding info on if it actually does now come with its own ECU or not.
  5. Just look for anything obvious. Remember before your car has reached the dealership it has... Been transported on at least four trucks Possibly been hoisted by a crane Traveled half way around the world in a ship Been sitting in an outdoor holding area for at least 3 weeks. It goes without saying that a number of people have handled your car before it gets to the dealership, so if there is any sort of blemish, it's not necessarily their fault
  6. Can't say anyone's had any such problems You sure you car isn't an Ex-Rental... Because other than the odd paint blemish (Due to someone actually scratching it) or part alignment, Our cars are actually quite solid for the price.
  7. And what do we get on TV... V8 supercars, Even our WRC coverage is cr@p !

  9. Ah ok, I learnt something new today
  10. The only problem I had when the car was delivered was the car had scratches on the bonnet (minor) and a deep scratch in the drivers door. They were rectified at 1000km, HOWEVER, in certain light - the Drivers door doesn't quite match - It pisses me off every time I look at it. You seem to be someone with good attention to detail, so if you are getting any paint work rectified, check it under different angles of light to ensure it matches.
  11. There shouldn't be a universal fit, it should be with a specific pipe and flange to suit your model. It should just bolt straight on. Is a Corolla owner selling it ? Or are they selling it from a different vehicle altogether ?
  12. With mine I found that throttle response was improved and the engine breathes better above 4000 rpm
  13. Hey Stock VVTi. If you click on my gallery below or have a look at my garage you'll see pics of the Remus, both the muffler itself and how it looks on the car. If you want a closer pic let me know. I'm in Melbourne, I purchased mine new from CarShine. I was put on to them from the Remus Distributor in Victoria - Motoline - Which I found in an advert in MOTOR magazine (should still be in there). I paid $850.00 new. If you've been offered a second hand one for $300.00 provided it's not dented or chipped or damaged in anyway, it sounds like a good buy, remembering it's stainless steel so they last. My brother had one on his Prelude for 9 years and it was still good when he traded the car. Cheers

Welcome Bozza, Don't know of any places sorry, but I do know you'd be looking at around $400.00. It's not so much the parts, it's more the labour.
  15. Sounds like a good compromise. For everyday use I don't really like suspension that's so stiff it skips and hops over any road bumps.
  16. Here's some we did earlier PhotoChops
  17. Everyone over to Sport1vo's place tonight , Lamb spit roast! :D
  18. :D Awesome Clarence ! Very Nice indeed, can't wait to see it. I love the ST205 Celica GT4's, a real rare sight in Australia, they really stand out and have excellent performance to boot. I think you'll be holding on to this one for a while ;)
