  1. when people say things like this and this i get quite concerned....
  2. take it to the dealer, disconnect the battery and get them to see it happen.
  3. ok guys i get the message, its all been sorted so lets just let it go.

  5. i use what ever ol mate brendo puts on my car haha
  6. the EDFC (that electronic controll unit) wont fit in the corollas.
  7. I always use BP Ultimate, average around town is bout 500km/tank so thats bout 9L/100km
  8. so you are saying that they dont work at all? if thats the case then that is NOT normal
  9. hey Chris i know that silva and myself have the same problems with the CAI and it would seem that its more of an issue up here in QLD as its generally bit hotter, i only have the problem when the weather starts to warm up, during the colder months it does not seem to be as much of an issue Corey
  10. evl_50a, stop being a smart ***** and mabey spend your time in the search page, the effecvt of water and CAI's does NOT change overnight so the reponses in those thread are every bit as valid as anything posted today, alot of us get sick and tired of reading the same **** over and over again when the answers all of about 5 seconds away, in future if you want to be a smart ***** do it some place else.
  11. this was the result of a search for "rain and CAI" was pretty hard too. http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...099&hl=rain+CAI http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...904&hl=rain+CAI http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...791&hl=rain+CAI in future please send more then 1sec on the search page these topics that are coming up time and time again are just wasting space
  12. agree with that comment, though the market 2.5 years ago was far better then the way it is today... easier to buy that is... ← you guys need a slap in the head lol, ill buy a ferrari before i buy a house :P, i started looking at houses, then went to carsales.com.au and found what i could get for the same money as a house and BINGO carsales it was haha
  13. zee you will only get that clicking noise when turning hard and only when the CV joints are just about dead its not somthing that will happen for a very long time if the only issue is a split CV boot.
  14. i would be going back to see your dealer
  15. do you want your car for crusing or flat out performance? if you want it for crusing then go the "fully sic"" sound system. If you want flat out performance get the coilovers, then save up fro some 16x7" rims/nice tyres. If you want a combo of both get springs and a set of 17" rims.
  16. Thanks for that spec_black...though I'm curious why do you lose power with a Cannon Exhaust??? Care to elaborate on that one??? Also if I go the cat back, on a 1ZZFE would I get any gains at all??? I've got a Cannon exhaust, I took it out coz, I got caught by the EPA saying that it was too loud. I'm thinking of getting a cat back with the Cannon??? I've already done a custom Air Intake (check out my garage) so maybe a cat back with Cannon would give me some gains. I'm more into Torque than high end power!!! Cheers ← N/A cars need back pressure, and a canon wont give it. Catback system with a propper muffler is the way to go. also i would have a look around for some pipe to replace the peice of stock intake pipe that goes into the intake manifold fromt he short ram intake, try to remove those sharp bends that will also help quite a bit
  17. you can use the existing washers, but the top of the tower that hold the strut is not flat so depending on the strut brace you may bend it, the whiteline one comes with brass washers and net nuts to get around this problem, silva and myself have installed around 8 strut braces and we have never used a tourqe wrench and all have been happy customers.
  18. its a catback stock sportivo system that has been cut just behind the cat
  19. bump, i know there are more of us that want to go so make a post or PM me and ill pass is along to the mazda lad's
  20. i would also be going TRD flywheel excedy HD clutch
  21. you should be able to get most of them for around the $600-$700 mark
  22. the TOM's flywheels make some intersting noises, anyone that has herd a car with one will know what i mean
  23. the flywheel will make the car rev faster, but if you are doing alot of uphill events/driving then a light flywheel may not be the thing for you, you can lighten the flywheel and you will feel the diff.
