  1. yet another thread, we really have no idea its toyota we are talking about they release cars when/if they feel like so you will just have to wait and see
  2. If they had a wagon in the Stivo, I would have got it instead of the hatch. ← just imagine the "sleeper" image that you could have
  3. also check the airflow sensor to see if its dirty cause that make a huge difference to the idle, im in QLD and my car NEVER got past half way even on the hottest days/spirited drving excursions
  4. im planning on heading down somtime during next week after work
  5. Hey dude what year model is your corolla ? mines 2004 the 1 with the new front grill ? u sure the side skirts fit ? ← as posted above the only part that will not fit is the front bumper stuff all the rest of the parts will fit, both front and side skirts
  6. the reflective lights that you are refering to are projector headlights HID's dont have that sparkel, they are just brighter then the rest, the philips Diamond vision are pretty good as well as there vision plus range
  7. if the filter becomes submerged it will suck water in the engine and you will get hydrostatic lockup this is NOT good you will end up with things like busted conrods. If you MUST drive through water disconnect the silicone elbow at the intake manifold, you will have to keep the car reving as this by passes the air flow meter so it will stall if you are not carefull
  8. yep its just the stock bar with the plastic grille removed, all up it cost me $35 for the mesh (got it from Autobarn) and $6 for the stube of silicone (BigW) , took me about 2hrs from start to finish. I dont have my camera with me atm and its got the rest of the pics on it im hoping to get them tomorrow so you can see the process.
  9. i would imagine that 40 Sportivos driving round parliment house in Lift would be quite loud....... :D
  10. here are a few shots of the final result, ill post up the rest of the pics in the workshop later tonight
  11. most dealers dont even know who TRD are thats why they say err, hrm the TRD CAI is not going to effect your warranty, there was a thread on here a while back where this topic was discussed
  12. saintz01, i would like to applogise for these two tossers, as rolla mods has the box to the pod so i asked him what it was (expecting a normal answer) and it was obviously a setup with his ****** brother map.
  13. RX-3900-1, and this is the pod http://northy.darkrazer.homeip.net/CAI/K&N%20pod.JPG i tried to post the pic but i got this error when trying to use the tags THE FOLLOWING ERROR(S) WERE FOUND Sorry, dynamic pages in the tags are not allowed
  14. Problem is.. wouldnt that mean if you had the CAI and Exhaust.. and your engine went boom. they could void you warranty? As the exhaust and CAI change the way your engine breathes? Id love to get a CAI and CES exhaust system right now... however i dont want to void my warranty ← if you get a TRD CAI you are covered and i cant think or anything that they could blame the exhaust for?
  15. its quite simple really, the more **** you have the slower you go :P
  16. well rolla girl is down, so we are goinna go for a bit of a cruise down the coast, meeting up @ Data#3 (normal thursday night place) @ 8:00pm then moving down to meet some more people @ BP Yatla @ 8:30pm then heading down the coast. hope to see everyone out and about.
  17. the warranty is only voided on the items that you replace and the items that are directly affected buy the replacement parts
  18. most of the guys here in QLD are running low Kings (35mm Drop) they are also mostly sportivos so the ground clearnace is abit less to give you some idea, my car with super low lovells (65mm drop) and a Sportivo with Low Kings (35mm drop) have about the same ground clearance, the other thing is that over time the stock shock absorbers will become very worn out, so thats just somthing to consider somthing like koni sports shocks will make a suitable replacement the adjustable ones start from around the $250-$300 per strut and the non adjustables are around the $200-$250 per strut.
  19. mate dont worry about that pipe its not there its a sportivo. If you cant find somthing that is in the instructions dont worry abouut it cause its prolly a sportivo thing
  20. thanks mate im quite pleased with how they look on the car, craig all the sensors are already in the car.
  21. AS I SAID $200 Fine and defect notice for POD filter if it is uncovered NSW dont know about QLD ← not entirly true, this is only the case if the pod is in the engine bay, as teh TRD one is not then you dont have any probs, my car is registered in NSW and i have had no probs even when having my vehicle inspected, the guys at the toyota place where i get my car serviced also said that it was all ok.
  22. 850km, was all freeway driving and that was doing 70km with the fuel light on and im sure it would have had to have been pretty much bone dry lol
