  1. its the Data #3 warehouse on castlemain street oppsite suncorp stadium. Or if you are on the south side we normally meet at sunnybank maccas and then going into the city.
  2. thing you need to remember is that down the track you are going to have to get new shockies as the stock ones will wear far quicker, also i see you guys are from brisbane, you should come down to Data#3 on thursday night.
  3. after having a look around i would say that they are the same things
  4. yep, the first link is hosted on a server at my work and yesterday it had to be rebuilt so its still down
  5. im keen for LED rear lights, ie blinker, brakes, parkers....now that would be cool
  6. if i had a list this is what it would be, 1) TRD CAI - ~$450 - the CAI is good for bout 5kw atw 2) Cat Back Exhaust system - ~$1100 (somthing like the CES system, it was good for bout 9kw atw) 3) Low King Springs (35mm drop) + Koni Adjustable Sports Shockies (a must IMO if you are going to lower the car) - ~$1400 for the springs and shocks fitted 4) Camber bolt kit ( this is to adjust the camber on the front wheels only, gives you alot better turnin on corners) - ~$70-100 5) Whiteline Front Strut Tower Brace (im proves handling) - ~$180 all up you are looking at about $3380. after this i would also look at getting a better clutch, lighter flywheel, but these will blow your budget most due to the labour fitting costs.
  7. VAFC wont work, the only way to change the lift kick in would be an apexi power FC or some other replacement ECU
  8. here you go this one has the stock, CAI with the K&N pod and the TRC CAI with the TRD pod.
  9. actually eggy smell, sounds like clutch. i'm quite familiar with that smell since someone tried to launch my car off 3rd gear. slipping it for i'd say a good 300 out of 400m? :P ← hahah almost fell out of my chair, also i hope its not your clutch as the **** ****ers at toyota will tell you its meant to wear and to come back when you have a problem, when you do that they will inform you that you should have seen them when the problem first appeared and then will kindly charge you for a new clucth and flywheel.
  10. i could hardly walk after going backwards then forewards then backwards, this went on for 2hrs, the pics look good tho
  11. hope you have a great day mate.
  12. here is a flash movie of how lift actually works http://brisbane.tocs.com.au/vvtli/vvtl_i.htm
  13. im looking for one also but so far none of the dealers i have spoke to are able to get spare parts......WTF
  14. here it is guys http://brisbane.tocs.com.au/Toyota-Wiring.pdf
  15. its normal mine and eveyone i know who has the TRD CAI makes the same noise
  16. 1) according to toyota they are Fog lights 2) after your first service. (1000km)
  17. yes sci-fleet at albion yep the dude said it was a straight lift from the camry, on another note at the end of this year the celica will no longer be part of toyota's lineup the sales have all but disappeared since the release of the sportivo corolla, this is what the sales/dealer manager told me, and sci-fleet was the number 1 dealer for sales in 2004
  18. well took this for a test drive sarvo, was not that impressed with the power lift was painfull, the new look center console got my vote with the CF look matt silver finish and the 6 disc MP3 Stacker. as for the rest its the same as the previous model
  19. i would be VERY surpirsed if the needle was loose, i have taken my needles off and it took some effort to get them off they are on tight, i have noticed a 1.5-2V drop even with the stock stereo so the only way to tell would be to break out the multi-meter and some loud music..., that said Oz is right the instrument clusters go for about $1500-$2000 as a spare part from toyota so its not somthing that you want to have to replace some time down the track
  20. :D going for test drive in a black face lift sportivo tomorrow arvo ill take some pics
