  1. Just a question, dunno if anyone has done this before, but would Camry springs fit into an Aurion? Reason being I've found a set of Pedders Low's for a Camry, just not sure whether theres any difference in the struts between the Aurions and Camrys. Has anyone tried this?
  2. Ouch that isn't cheap by any means, thankfully the Alt is covered under warranty though. Are you going to go ahead with the repair?
  3. My mates SX6 has the exact same noise. Let us know how you go at finding what it is
  4. BodyKitsKingdom have eyelids in stock again :) http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/aurion-abs-plastic-eye-lid-with-double-side-tape-06-12-carbon-lip-led-spoiler-/130783035748?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&fits=Make%3AToyota%7CModel%3AAurion&hash=item1e7346c164&_uhb=1
  5. If you dont mind getting your hands dirty, pull off the intake and check for any debris. Its a far stretch, but what may have happend is something got sucked into the intake, blocking it up, and then when you let off the pressure released and the rattle being the debris falling back into the airbox. I know it sounds simple, but it may be all it was. Worth a shot before you go sinking $$$ in trying to figure it out. Youl have to undo the hose clamps holind the top of the box onto the charger, and then unclip the top from the bottom. From there you should be able to quickly see if anything is in there
  6. Has there been any noticeable loss in power since? sounds like a boost leak (possibly)
  7. What header setup are you running and where did you source it?

    Looking good :)
  9. Haha yeah, I just worked and worked and worked. As a result, didn't have much of a social life in high school years, but ended up with the car :) Spent far too much on it though
  10. R33 GTS, come GTSt. Rocketsled.
  11. ^ ^ Easy enough to have modified your first post in the other thread
  12. I run Nexen N6000's on mine, they are 19's but only cost me about $190 a tyre so I'd imagine 18's may be slightly cheaper :) As for performance, great all rounder. Handles surprisingly (for the price) well in the wet with a few corners. Quietish for "sports" tyres (about as quiet as my Adrenalins which were on 17's) at highway speeds. Had them years ago on my Skyline and handled quite well on it too, with ALOT of spirited driving :) I've also heard the 595's are quite good on the Aurion/Camry aswell, that was my original option but the Nexens came up cheaper so I went for them instead
  13. Have found running 33 PSI has made a pretty big improvement. feels alot more like it did. might try an alignment tho too :)
  14. Nah not yet, going in for a service in a couple of weeks, by which point it should have reached the K's I would like for it to be "run in" so then a dyno run shortly after :)
  15. I think ChrisE2490 has a whole ATX interior he is parting out, I grabbed a bit off him a while ago. might be worth hitting him up a PM to see if he still has that part of the dash, for alot cheaper then new id imagine :)
  16. This is going to look sik. kinda faintly reminds me of the back of a jet fighter...
  17. So I should be putting in more or less pressure to get an even wear?
  18. Check your manual for the fuse location for the horn, it may be blown...
  19. After recently installing aftermarket wheels on my 08 Aurion Sportivo, I have noticed at highway speeds (100km/h) it feels floaty, light and not planted to the road. Hard to explain but more or less if you ***** the steering wheel slightly it takes half a second for the car to move, and then feels like a slight wobble back. This is directly compared to the standard Sportivo rims which are 17x7 and had 215's or something skinny on them, they felt very "direct" in comparison Specs on the wheels and tires are as follows F - 19x8.5" +40 with 235/35 R19 Nexen N6000's R- 19x9.5" +45 with 245/35 R19 Nexen N6000's Pressure is 35PSI all round (after reducing from 40 which is what the tire shop put in, feels alot better now even after that) Should I further reduce the pressure, look into an alignment or something else? Help much appreciated :)
  20. What is the width and offset of the rims?
