Yep, we all have differing opinions to George at times... but no one get's too worked up about it, it's like ripping into Pete, we all know we shouldn't but the reactions he gives are awesome :) But like you said, all you need to do is meet George to realise he is a great guy. He has his opinions, and he is strong enough to stand behind them, that's the main thing, and what also get him in trouble at times.

bumping this topic... I had me right front strut blow out on me last Friday (G4, not D2). One week after my trip to Wakefield Park... Good news. I took the car in to Just Jap, they assessed it and agreed the strut had definately spat a hell of a lot of oil all over the place. The car at this stage was feeling like the wheel would fall off on every slow speed bump, surprisingly, on the highway it still felt fine. But I took the strut back today and they changed the insert over and now it's riding beautifully again. I still stand by the quality of these parts, and the even better after sales service I've received. They said they have had 3 returns (for the same reason as me) in the 12 months or so they have been selling them, which isn't a bad record. I'm still very happy with my purchase :D

The best way to let him know you are leaving him space is to flash your lights at him. That normally gets the point across. Like has been said, it's all about communication, not anticipation.

You should be able to get them for ~$300 each shipped in a group buy I'd think. nothing, they are easy as ***** to install... If I can do it, anyone can :)

I'm with Les. I also like the look of the fog lights when they are on, but I turn them off because of the crack down on drivers that use them all the time. And like I said before George, I warned you all about this at the last meet, I also then saw 70% of the cars behind me proceed to drive with them on (and SyxXPaC deciding not to use lights at all until he left the car park :P ). If any of you get picker up for driving with them on without a VALID excuse you have no pitty from me... you have been forwarned, what more do you want. That's like jumping head 1st into a river man...

I have no idea, didn't really chat to him about his car. Sunny might know. We were lined up 3 wide, Myself, Bill (SyxXPaC) and the dude in the GTiR. Bill was still stock at this stage and was gone by the 1st change. the GTiR slightly in front I pulled passed in 2nd and stayed in front to near the top of 3rd... we then slowed down. They guys down at Wakefield Park were damn impressed with the pull the sportivo had down the straight. I was staying with a V8 soarer and and (I think unmodified) series 7 RX7... there was a series 4 that I spanked too ;) Oh, I forgot to add, I had myu brother and my girlfriend in the car too, he was by himself :P

ask sunny's mate what I did to his GTiR Pulsar ;) :P

you'd have to allow suspenson and brake modification surely... as well as exhaust. Other then that it should be bone stock other then consumables (oil, filters, brake pads, brake lines, hoses etc)
