    [ACT] Several corollas spotted in Caltex @ the Airport ;) ~10pm Black Corolla with aftermarket front bar and big bling chromies parked in Braddon. rumours of a '68 Crown Wagon around the Railway Station at 2pm but unseen by those that mattered (our groups heading in the wrong directions) if we had just heading towards the city we would surely have spotted it :(

    Sorry I couldn't make it. After spendind all day yesterday searching Canberra for a sign of Stitt's wagon I was completely buggered today. I has home at ~2am.

    I have oil temp, oil pressure and A/F ratio I rely on the dodgy factory temp gauge for water temp.

    there should be a line from the the O2 sensor attatched to the catalytic converter that goes to the ecu. As far as I can tell you splice into that... now to find the right one...

    The thing is, this is an icon car of Toymods. Just about every member has put something into getting this car going, so it effected us all, not just Stitty, when this happened. Be great to get it back in one peace. If the guy was smart he would just dump it nicely somewhere and be done with it... if the car comes back in one piece, everyone would be happy.

    I've been debating this very issue. As my car is a long term keeper project, I thought about the respray (mainly due to the stone chips that I have) but as the car is Blue, it needs a dark colour painted over it. Going light could look weird over a dark colour.

    check the Toymods thread for the latest news. not recovered yet, but they are still out looking. They havd informed all Servos, most Wreckers, Tow companies, cabbies etc of the story and most are willing to help out if they see anything. I think the guy is lying low for now with all the heat on this car at the moment. I'm sure he is now ruing that it was Stitt's car he took... why steal such a rare car?

    where does the dyno say it was mesured at the wheels... perhaps they used an engine dyno, as Toyota tends to for tech doccos and specs

    I don't tend to be looking at the front of my car (other then the bonnet through the windscrean) during shifts when I'm sitting in the drivers seat, but that doesn't sound good...

    or conversely you can tighten up the dampers to get it stable... <_< The rear swaybar will allow you to run stiffer suspension and still keep the car flater keeping all 4 wheels on the ground rather then lifting the rear in hard cornering. It's all about finding the right balance.

    wecome tumbles... the car sounds nice... the twinkys are nice any light so the 4AGE should be plenty powerful enough... for now :P also can you do us a favour and turn the caps lock off... there is no need to yell can see what you are saying just fine ;) :P
