  2. Legend has it that there is a bar in Adelaide where, in the ladies room, there is a very special mirror. If one stands in front of the mirror and tells the truth, one is granted a wish. However, if one tells a lie... Pooof. They are instantly swallowed up by the mirror, never to be seen again. Sooooo, a redhead of questionable looks walks into the ladies room, stands before the mirror and says, "I think I'm the most beautiful woman in the world." Pooof. The mirror swallows her. Next, a rather large brunette stands before the mirror and says, "I think I'm the sexiest woman alive." Pooof. The mirror swallows her. Then, an absolutely gorgeous blonde comes in and stands before the mirror and says, "I think..." Pooof....
  3. Sure does (not quite 4k revs but close). Did I hear someone say where's 7th gear. This is why I take the Camry to the Coast from Brissy it's only 600cc more and 1000% less power but they do cruise nicely and good on the petrol on the highway. (and I don't get sand in my car only the wifes)
  4. I did read some where that the 16inch alloy option is $650 and $1000 including the boot lip.
  5. Congratulations you will wonder what you are doing for a while but it seems to come pretty naturally for most parents. Must be hard wired into us. A girl as well same start as me, hopefully a boy next and then get snipped (kids are sooooo expensive) as two is enough. Wonder what you would have done with the $4k baby bonus if you still had the rolla hey. MOD - PRAM - MOD- PRAM- MOD- PRAM Wack Wack - by the better half across the head PRAM PRAM PRAM Enjoy - they grow up fast
  6. On my old Camry (last of the wide body) I had a seperate remote opener to the key and it was not serviceable. You had to throw it away when the battery was flat. Only good think about that model was there was a port in the glovebox you put the new remote into and pushed the horn so many times to programme the remote. Sounds like Bull sh..t but it was true. So you might have some thing similar except now Toyota programme them for you.
  7. A little girl and her mother were out and about. Out of the blue, the girl asked her mother, "Mommy, How old are you?" The mother responded, "Honey, women don't talk about their age. You'll learn this as you get older." The girl then asked, "Mommy, how much do you weigh?" Her mother responded again, "That's another thing women don't talk about. You'll learn this, too, as you grow up." The girl, still wanting to know about her mother, then fired off another question, "Mommy, why did you and Daddy get a divorce?" The mother, a little annoyed by the questions, responded, "Honey, that is a subject that hurts me very much, and I don't want to talk about it now." The little girl, frustrated, sulked until she was dropped off at a friend's house to play. She consulted with her girlfriend about her and her mother's conversation. The girlfriend said, "All you have to do is sneak a look at your mother's driver's licence. It's just a like a report card from school. It tells you everything." Later, the little girl and her mother were out and about again. The little girl started off with, "Mommy, Mommy, I know how old you are. I know how old you are. You're 32 years old." The mother was very shocked. She asked, "Sweetheart, how do you know that?" The little girl shrugged and said, "I just know. And I know how much you weigh. You weigh 68 kilos." "Where did you learn that?" The little girl said, "I just know. And I know why you and Daddy got a divorce. You got an 'F' in sex."
  8. :( GONE: COROLLA WAGON TOYOTA will not replace the current Corolla station wagon in Australia. Supplies have almost dried up for the current model, which when it arrived here late in 2001 was billed as a replacement for the Camry wagon. “We can depend on some of our SUV offerings, like Kluger and RAV4, for people to migrate to (from the Corolla wagon),” Toyota Australia’s sales and marketing chief David Buttner told GoAuto. Last month Toyota unveiled the new-generation Fielder (Corolla) wagon, which is the Japanese-market version. This will not be coming to Australia. Meanwhile, Mr Buttner confirmed that the Corolla nameplate would definitely be retained in Australia on both the 10th-generation sedan and hatchback variants due around April. “There were discussions held, but we felt that this had such a strong brand image here in Australia,” he said. “We didn’t have the issues Toyota was facing in Europe, where Corolla wasn’t a strong badge, and they really needed to introduce something that could continue to grow our market share in Europe, so the Auris name badge has been adapted for Europe.”
  9. I have an annoying rattle in my drivers door. I'm sure it's just a loose wire that needs to be re taped. How hard is it to remove the door trim to get a look in side. I assume the holes in the metal will be sealed with some sort of plastic to keep water out. Anyone done this before and is there any traps I need to look out for. What tools do you need.
  10. Spotted red rolla this morning on Underwood Rd TRXXX plates. Came up behind him and he gave it a bit then I turned right and left him too it. Looked like he had CES twin end exhaust (well it was shiny like SilvaBullits) Anyone ? Anyone?
  11. It was organised by Bicycle Queensland for Diabetes Australia. Sort of a mini Round the Bay in a Day which is for Victorians or Sydney to the Gong for Sydney siders. A lot of people actually rode home - now they were mad.
  12. Road my bike to the Gold Coast yesterday. Joined in with 3999 other riders and pedaled to Southport yesterday. Total 102k's average speed 33kph, Time three hours (40.8 k's per litre - I drank 2.5 litres of water) Max speed 60.9 kph. This was on the Velo 1 which crosses under the M1 a couple of times and snakes it way beside the M1 most of the way down to the Coast. A really nice ride and can be recommended. Including the ride to the ride ended up doing 112 kilometres before 9AM. Finished with a nice barbie bacon, eggs tomato on the Southport Spit.
  13. Hard to install twin exhasts on that. Pretty much stuck with the one.
  14. Post crap about other cars on their websites. WRX , etc. and watch them join here and flame us back. That would get the numbers up. ie My Sportivo smoked a WRX Sti with the guy in the Yaris coming in second followed by the WRX.
  15. I have changed my avatar from myself on the MTB to this one which appears 3D. It is much better when larger . So rate it out of 10. What you like and what you don't like. Then the next person rates yours. Go for it.
  16. Some decisions were dodgy but it went both ways but not that bad. The above was not it coming off his head but how it got there and the ruling was off a storm players arm - therefore a knock on. The only contention was did it hit his arm or a Bronco's hand. For me it was straight off the Storm players bicep so no problems with that decision. The second markers were not standing behind the first which does slow the game down and there was too much laying on the tackled player there should have been more penalties for these.
  17. Good to see that no one has yet owned up to being a Bunnies supporter. Hard to choose who will win. The Storm have 6 Queenslands (pretty sure on that number) in the team. But who cares at least there is no Roach teams playing. Suck eggs you NSWosers.
  18. Took the rolla back to the panel shop this morning. Showed the faults (all nice as pie) and was told the big bog mark was a fault in the new bar ("quote - dam I don't know how they missed that when they painted it") Also showed all the lumps in the paint and the dark silver bits. They will respray the bumper for me. Hopefully they will do a good job this time.
  19. That looked like my car up until last week. Cost $2500 to fix some thing like that. The worst part is losing use of your car for a week. If rego is $600 and insurance $1000, that's $30 wasted for the week plus all the other hassels with it.
  20. Take it back, they should be able to cut back the orange peal, not sure about the rest though. Sounds like a dodge place you went to RACQ Recommended repairer . And I had to wait a month to get in (and a week to get fixed). I think the assessor cut the crap out of the time allowed on the quote they must have rushed it.
  21. I've got the car back and the paint job on the rear bumper is bad. It's got orange peel, dark spots in the silver paint, lumps in the paint and also it looks like they damaged the bumber and have tried to bog it up . I was promised new parts hopefully they are. Can they fix a bad paint job on a rear bumper.
  22. How about just turn the brightness down. You do it with the ODO reset button. Push until the dashes come up Then hold in until you get the right level of brightness. There is a post on here somewhere with pics
  23. Nice . Looks really good. From the photos looks in really good condition. Was it owned by a little old lady who looked after it and only drove to church :D How many klm's does it have on it and what $ do these things go for now (that's if you could find one).
  24. No it can't be. I am a mad keen Brocky supporter even had a two door '71 6cylinder Torana as my first car. Could not afford a GTR - XU1. He was a really good driver and well respected (except for that magnet crap) he will be missed. RIP Brocky
  25. Correct the click bit is just to get everyone using the same (roughly) amount of petrol not just doing a 10k try hard fuel run.
