  1. Check out New Celica.org and search for a guy named Boosted 2.0. He's the one in the states who is doing the ported stock headers and has dyno sheets and piccies. Or like i mentioned earlier contact CES yourself for more info. I will not post any other info due to(and what has already happened ) the narrow mindedness of some members. All I will say is that yes they work and yes they did make an increase in power and in drivability and I'm happy with them :D :D :D
  2. I know that some of you will flame me but I am just simply going to say that there is headers here in Australia(more so Brisbane) for the Sportivo and they work very well. There are a few Brissy boys running them now and they are extremely happy with the results for the price concerned. If you want to know more then contact CES Racing yourself on 07 32002333.
  3. CES dyno day in late july has our annual show and shine so to have 2 this close together isn't really worth it.
  4. ive seen those ones .. but as my memory serves me it was $150++ ... not exactly money well spent ... but as I said this group buy is canned coz of the supplier not willing to negotiate prices .... wait till he comes back to me when he is desperate to get rid of them !!! so how much is he asking??
  5. I know how good my car is show wise and I'm the first to admit defeat to a better car. But the fact that a relatively stock(stereo and a few small bits of chrome(turbo heat shield and one other bit) and that's it) and from my experience an averagely prepared Turbo Celica shows up and absolutely cleans up on the trophy side of things. Then at the trophy night the guys who judged the show are constantly ragging Corolla's and blowing the Celica trumpet then you start to wonder...... :o :o Hopefully this year it'll be independant judges who aren't in the slightest swayed by make/model. :D "Rigged" might be too strong a word, but I admit that the judging was off in some way last year ... while I'm happy to win my trophy, fact is that the wagon wasn't to the same standard of Azza's, which I beat to the class win. I'm not just trying to pump Azza up, I think most of you who've seen the wagon know that its clean, but Azza's would leave it for dead in terms of detail. The other point is, you've got the very new Silvabullet up against a 15 year old Celica, I wonder if maybe they took "condition for age" into account and maybe went too far with their scoring? Anyway, this year I'm hoping to get a bit of a heads up on what their criteria is, what they mark down on or what can earn points. For example, does a Celica with its little boot full of stereo gear get more points than an empty station wagon boot, even though they might be line-ball in terms of general condition? Yeah I think that your right on that one Buddha oh wise one. But my car wasn't new(just on 2 years old) but if the car is competing in the modified class then it has to compete against the other cars in that class. Personally the Celica should have been in the next class down as the mods were extremely minor compared to the other cars in the class(stereo and a few chrome bits). This year is another year and if we can find out what the judges look for then that'd be even better ;) (what sort of beer do they like Buddha :P )
  6. Fruity flavours eh?? Man you sure have a funny way to eat a piece of fruit Bill :P Looks like that could be part of Austin Powers' swedish ***** enlarger.....

  12. At least we know who will win show and shine this time. Yeah at least it'll be a Corolla not a Yaris like last time... :o
  13. I mainly cater to people who are enthuisasts, own rare and collectables or just downright rich people who want their BMW/Merc/Lexus always looking it's very best to keep up appearances in the neighbourhood without them outlaying the time to do it. So they pay me :D Most of the cars I detail I know better than the owners do. Every mark, scratch and dent that the car gets I usually find well before the owners do and fix it for them. Being very prescise has it's price; people either pay me to do the job or go to the ol' shopping centre car "washers"(don't ever call those places detailers ) cause they wash the car in any old fashion with no real care taken.
  14. I can feel that your gonna be sick about the 14th of july to the 17th of july lol :P
  15. Would love to see the Sportivo in that colour...*drools**** :D
  16. Sounds like a good plan boys so who's definately in?? :D
  17. Well put Corzza!! With big hands like mine even with long fingers it's still a pain. :(
  18. If the tyre has any sidewall damage then kiss it goodbye. Tyre places won't repair it and it 's too dangerous to drive on as a sidewall fracture sometimes cannot be seen but will let go whenever it feels like it. If the impact was big enough to damage the rim then definately get the tyre removed from the rim and checked thoroughly.
  19. the 1G-GE is a 2L inline 6cl engine, would make an interesting engine for rally though. it is already in a RWD platform. They obviously don't want to use this engine in a corolla though... They have about as much torque as the 2ZZ. Need to rev them to really get them moving.Bit doughy low down.
  20. Why not mate invite him along after all he's driving a Toyota ;)
  21. I've done work for a lot of Brissy boys in the past....Shaohaok,Danthuyer, Northy & Sportiv to name a few but you get what you pay for. My motto is the taste of poor quality lasts longer than the taste of an expensive price. :D
