Car detailing is all about cleaning cars. From doing a cut and polish to leather treatment, shampooing upholstery, cleaning underbody's and engine bays etc etc.

But seriously i passed high school(could have done heaps better cause I was actually quite smart) but the lure of the basketball court was TOO much and therfore ended playing basketball 4 nights a week in year 12 as well as tournaments on weekends. A couple of serious injuries bascially crippled my dream job of playing professional basketball so I went straight out and got a job to earn money. Simple. No uni just straight out into the workforce and earn the $$$$. So far I have worked for K Mart Auto, Lawn mowing /landscaping businesses 3 times, Distributed orange juice for a large OJ company, Pizza Hut(for a bit of fun lol),worked for a Honda/Nissan dealership as a detailer, run my own business doing car detailing for nearly 9 years and now at a School as the head groundskeeper and a sports coach. All this in 15 years and have always found a way to earn a dollar (and spend it ) and this year for the first time I'm going to go back to study to get my horticultural/environmental degree cause it's something I've prolly wanted to do but never had a reason that I could justify.(if I do I'll earn more $$$ :P )

For your information the 1zz CAI is already done and the 2zz is having the finishing touches put to it in the next week or so. <_<

:D No Probs :D Our results were the same. Dyno showed no real increase but on road drivability was improved. :D

CES will have one available for sale soon(next 3 weeks or so). Designed to be able to fit pods on without hitting fog light. Also looking at doing a CAI especially for the 1ZZ with different specs to suit the engine. Stay tuned for more details. Please don't PM wanting to know more as I'll post it up when I do. :D

We tried the panel filter comaprison back to back at the CES dyno day (standard Toyota and K&N) and the results were exactly the same.

Not straight through. Prolly something like a dog leg or a free flowing 3 chamber perhaps.

Guys the prices will pretty much be the same as quoted. I'm just trying to see if i can get the freight price down because of the size of the order. I am waiting for a response from my supplier as I type this. Fro those ordering the rear strut brace we are also waiting on a price on those as they aren't a commonly sold item. If you want to pull out then do so or if you want to go with Whiteline then you can do that too. Doesn't phase me either way.

Much rather stick with Bowdens thanks anyway. Meguiars ahs gone down hill in the last couple of years as the Australian wing of Meguiars is making their own products here and not using the US ones to cut costs and make more money. But unfortunately the quality of the products is slipping badly too.
