  1. Hahahahahahaha that's gold...err I mean silver oops sorry Negatron Chrome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. If they had 4 doors then it'd be bye bye Sportivo ;)
  3. C'mon Corey cannon fodder Where exactly is Brisbane Forest Park?? And what time is the 2nd meet up point?? And thirdly will your ex boyfriend "Douggy" be there in his "Echo" Cause he just loves racing Sportivo's......
  4. spot on the money, we found that 2.5" is the best size intake pipe for a 1zz-fe. Also make sure that the MAF is in the same spot measurement wise from the throttle body as stock as during testing runs at CES this also caused some erratic idling etc etc. When we put it in the same place as factory measurement wise problem dissappeared.
  5. If you want superlows then contact Goodboyz as he has some for sale :D
  6. Kings will custom make a pair of springs for you but they will cost prolly more than $300. Pm me if your interested as I have contacts with a large Kings distributor who may be able to help you and point you in the right direction. :D
  7. Test driving a MP3??? Hope it accelerates forward fastly, reverses, selects the right gears and most of all doesn't skip with the bumps in the road. I've heard that the seats ain't all that comfy and headroom in the MP3 cabin is limited with visibility only being a small horizontal gap. :P :P :P :P Sorry mate couldn't resist :D
  8. not really as slicks and gutting your car doesn't make it any more powerful :P
  9. Exhaust needs work as it's very clearly restrictive and you can hear it on boost and high in the rev range. I'd say the muffler and rear resonator are totally desinged to reduce the note substantially and keep it real quiet. Zee first thing is get the exhaust done and watch the grin on your face get wider. ;)
  10. Welcome Chris and enjoy your stay. :D
  11. That could also be tyre wear caused by the common camber of Australian roads.
  12. If your selling it privately ask about $24 500 but take about $23k. Let the buyer beat you down a little that way they think they are getting a bargain. Best bet is to return it to stock if you can. Trade in prices will prolly be around the $17k to $20k if your lucky. Most Sportivo's around that age (03) have been selling here in Brisbane for around the $21 500 to $24 000 depending on condition, modifications and Kilometres.
  13. Mate the Sportivo has EBD and BA as well. But true though in stock form the Corolla isn't the best handling car especially with Turanza's. Mine lasted 4 hours on the car before I swapped them ;)
  14. I can say that the Renault drivers should be keeping a keen eye on any Mazda MPS coming up from behind as I don't think that there will be much they can do to stop it from passing them:)
  15. Black Magic is ok but not the best results I've achieved by a long shot. I had their rep throw some at me to try about 2 years ago but a lot more time consuming to get a result that wasn't as good as using Meguiars/Bowdens. The car wash they have is ok but again not the best around.
  16. Drop the hood lining and you'll see that it's held down with a nut on the under side of the roof. just a pain that you have to drop all the hood lining and side panels to do it.
  17. A multi valve V8 is never going to produce massive amounts of torque like a single inlet/exhaust valve configuration. It's designed to be smooth revving and easy to drive without the "neck snapping" torque that can be produced by a V8. Unfortunately most Cruiser owners aren't buying the V8 for the sheer power. :(
  18. ahh well maybe next time. Gives me time to do clutch, flywheel, engine mounts etc etc. ;)
  19. Overnight rain in Murrumba Downs and showers here this morning.... :( The sun is breaking thorugh though.... :) Same here but far from being fine enough to race. See how the day progresses :P
  20. Out of curiosity just how much are they wanting for the AEM over the Injen and also how much are they slugging you for freight? Other members may be wanting to see the difference in prices too. :D
  21. I've seen the ladies on here but not the beer :P
  22. With the right suspension tweaks, brake pads and lose some serious weight a MPS could become a seriously quick track warrior. From the drive I had through some mountain twisties i found the limiter many times and gave the car a real workout. There is a hell of a lot of potential there. It just has to be sorted in the right manner same as sorting out handling woes of a Sportivo:)
