A win win for sure mate well done, KAA
  2. Aaron a good idea to go double din, not only because it gives you more options but the fitting is less hair pulling as by now most top quality manufacturers of head units have matching harness suppliers which will make it virtually plug and play. When we got ours it was between the Clarion unit I got and a Kenwood unit and it came down to the Sat/Nav screen that really decided it for me as I found the Clarion way clearer and easier to use. So if you can narrow the field and as you said keep your eye's open I am sure something will come along bargain wise for Sebastian. By the way great name you gave your beauty, ours is Faye as in Faye Dunaway the actress as we felt our Presara matched the classy lady she was. Good Luck Keep Safe KAA
  3. Hi Aaron, as most threads will say it comes down to A: Price B: Personal choice of Make/Model and mostly what your after eg: sound quality Personally I went Double Din and had the 2 USB leads feed into the glovebox so I can add Flash-drive's 1 with my own music and when we were able to have the Grandkids in the car a flash drive for movies. Like most things I would always suggest staying with a good supplier who can then advise any issues with fitting and the required cables for all the controls on the steering wheel to operate. I went with Monster Car Audio and the guys locally did a perfect fitting so was 100% happy looks great sounds awesome and never an issue. Let us know how you get on mate and add some Pic's as we all love too see others set ups. KAA
  4. Wow Vinh that is a weird one, I have never ever had that issue, I hope someone on here can advise you as I have no idea what can be casing that issue. Mine is the same age as yours, all I can suggest is maybe talking to Toyota Service about the issue as it does sound really strange. Let us know if you find out what it is as would be handy to know. Good Luck KAA

Well done on getting the dash replacement, we all live and learn about things we should have done mate. At least once it is done grab a decent dash mat or as I do make sure and keep the dash well protected with quality interior cleaner/protectant. I am sure once it is done and all back to looking good again the joy of driving our beauties will return because there is nothing more annoying than staring at a crappy dash mate. KAA
  6. Hope you can make it Ben, the borders shutting and open all the damn time so check really well what is required before setting off just in case Enjoy it and soak in the beauty we have here KAA
  7. Hi david thanks for the Pic's, right now it is tough to find anything to do with body kits for the Aurion in Australia, I am sure if any know of somewhere they will let you know. The only kits I have seen seem to be overseas suppliers and with so many delays I would wait a while till things calm down to seek overseas. KAA
  8. Welcome to the forum Steve, am sure you will get someone who will offer answers to your needs KAA
  9. Yes that sounds like LOCKDOWN FEVER, LOL. Not sure if they have a cure yet but I bet many are working on them KAA

Thanks for the Pic's mate, yes very similar to my Clarion Head Unit, same similar size same features as ours. The Tweeters look nice, we just stuck with what came with the Presara as the sound has always been great with the standard. I do have spare speakers I bought and stored for another car we had. so if we do have an issue they are set too go. I have always loved my music and am fussy with clarity and quality when getting a chance to cruise (which is impossible with lockdown stay at home) so was a easy choice to change the standard unit to something much much better. Nice job looks great mate and ty again for the Pic's KAA

Thanks for the Pic's Adam, like others have said always great to see what others have done to their beauties, has come up really nice mate and the wheels do look like they belonged from the word go. What head unit did you install in it? as it looks very much like our Clarion unit we went for when we changed ours KAA
  12. Yes very tempted but with stay at home now in place it is food shopping, Doctors for second dose of vaccine and dentist for "She Who Must Be Obeyed" as she has new dentures and that's it for us for this week. All has been pretty good here on the Central Coast but we are regarded as Greater Sydney so it is follow what has too be for now. And all the would love to shop for things are on back burner Stay Safe All KAA
  13. Yes there is a really good Therapist near me I can recommend, he deals with issues like hoarding and problems with over kill LOL, no really glad they have landed on your doorstep as I am looking forward to the detailed use of these products. KAA
  14. Yes awaiting the final Pic's, looks great and well done of the accuracy with the drill KAA
  15. OOOOHHHHH hats and shirts as well nice, I love my hats..yes let me know when it comes around I do have an Amazon account haven't used it much lately though as I have left that to She Who Must Be Obeyed to shop for her nail and beauty products lately. I am not a man who MUST HAVE, I do like shopping but am selective and can enter a place and not buy a thing, however when it comes to automotive things that is my weakness and like you said if it is bright and shiny I love it🙄🙄😀😀 KAA
  16. As always your the man for the products, I have seen several You tube's on it but Pan said himself he loved it so that in itself is one of the best reviews around. I also tried to hunt it down but kept getting told sold out or unavailable for a while so it is on the list I have just added the windscreen sealant too. Thanks mate KAA
  17. Tony unfortunately I am guessing they will make the motorcycle manufacture's comply to the new rules, grrr same opinion as you the sound and feel of those who love the feel of the fresh winds while you ride and that engine note is awesome, I had a Honda 750/4 many many years ago but got sick of getting wet on the way to work and sadly sold it to a mate. I read today that NSW was introducing a no sales tax plan on EV's under a certain price but more details to come they said, so its a wait and see what will happen in NSW. The costs when first pushing the sales will really be interesting, so for me its keep the lady we have for years and see what is what later on, at least by then we will have a fair idea what is worth looking at and what is just plain rubbish. KAA
  18. Excellent Tony great products and advise, My next clean spoil the beauty day I will give the windscreen a good going over. Wanted to do the car last 2 days but has been belting down rain so they were stay inside warm and cosy days. Hopefully by the end of the week I can spoil the girl. I have looked at both products when drooling in Supercheap but now you have proven their worth they are now on my must buy list. I also have a few of those blocks as I bought them when doing the headlights (but ended up using the buffer to save energy and time and it brought both lights up like new) so at least have those to give the windscreen a good seal. If there is one thing that is annoying is having those damn streak mark when driving on a rainy day. Keep Well Mate and again Thanks for the detailed post KAA
  19. Thanks Adam, have you used these for the fog lights, if so what brand did you get and are they lasting ok? KAA
  20. Wow yes still beads like crazy Tony, looks like it will be the go too product for ease of application lasting grip and results it offers. Thanks for the Photo's mate makes it so clear how it just allows those beads to roll off. KAA
  21. Hi all, I am thinking of replacing the standard Presara Fog Light Bulbs with a suitable LED Bulb, any suggestions that will last like the standard ones have. they still work but would like a whiter brighter light, I like the extra light for those nights when others approaching me are blinding me with their unadjusted super-bright headlights grrrr I know how to get to them just not sure what type and style to buy, so any suggestions appreciated KAA
  22. What people say they will say no matter what you do to your car, some just wont like the fact it is Toyota, so stuff them I say it is yours and you do with it what you wish, Personally don't go overboard on the Mods, as it gets older you will never get back what it's worth with all of the mod's. as a few have said use your money more to keep it smooth, powerful, safe and legal. I went for stock look with tiny changes like grill and some badge removal, but money went inside for a top of the range head unit, as I love my music and wanted more modern Sat/Nav etc. I have had my day's of wanting power and speed and loved those cars, but now it is all about comfort fuel economy safety and reliability. So don't worry about anyone calling it a Ricer, it is yours and Toyota make awesome cars KAA
  23. Totally agree with Ashley and Tony and others, I would not waste good hard earned money on very small increases, The TRD was Toyota's answer to those who wanted more performance over a great reliable vehicle. I have read many threads on here for those who wanted the extra KW's and all would pay loads of money for a little gain. I love the power I have, the great response and the smooth change in gearing. So I agree Ben don't place too much out of pocket for very little gain, use it to keep the beast serviced well and enjoy the comfort of a great car. KAA
  24. Welcome to the forum Tristan, lots on here with great minds who I know will help, my only advise would be to know what your allowed to do to your beast and things that the Police would hammer you for, as you will have those P plates on that little beauty they would really look at you. Enjoy the forum KAA
  25. Tony it is a rant that needs to be out there more often, Yes Karma finally bit him hard and I enjoyed a great nights sleep after it. We are in a 50KPH zone and I have no problem with any of our neighbours as all have young children who love to play football kicks on the street, we all try and watch out for them and all get along great, so in a way he allowed a good bonding session for all who came out to laugh and cheer the police. As you said the lack of respect the lack of manners these days is just so frustrating at times, and really came out into the open with lockdown panic buying and lack of toilet paper, as I said to my beautiful wife at that time I can dig a hole and use newspapers we have if it came too it, I was brought up with a belt from Dad if you stuffed up, and with being taught to respect, to show love, and to open a door or pull out a seat for a LADY. These days some just don't care and show it is all about them and the I want it now attitude. Stuff them I say I will remain a gentleman KAA
