  1. Welcome to the forum Michael, as Ashley and Tony have said ask away, many great minds here too assist KAA
  2. Sounds like you needed that extra couple of days mate, there is always a list at my place but all are small jobs fortunately. Managed today to get the pressure washer out and gave our beauty a nice foam wash, also spent a long time on the wheels and gave them a good soaking of brake remover and a good scrub came up like a dream. She Who Must Be Obeyed gave the leather a nice wipe over as I only gave them a nice treatment about 2 weeks ago so she was able to sit and just clean vents and areas that catch dust and dirt a good clean out. As she is very craft orientated she came up with some nice cork shapes to fit in the cup holders fitted perfectly and replaced the old ones that had started looking sad. Anyway the beauty is back to sparking look crystal clean and ready for a day out to have a meal and the movies to use the vouchers NSW Gov gave out now just need to find something decent to enjoy KAA
  3. Had a fairly quiet ANZAC weekend, caught up with family on Saturday for a duel birthday get together for a niece and sister in-law, did get to go to the local out door ANZAC service on Sunday which was well attended, we didn't get the extra Monday off in NSW so a quiet but lovely change. I managed to find some new drivers floor mat holders as I noticed one had come loose and wouldn't lock back into the floor pan to hold the mat and got them for about 8 dollars cheaper than Toyota wanted, so got those fitted, gave the car a good vacuum out and that was it. 4. Welcome to the forum Craig, I am sure the brains on here will help all they can with your Seca, they were an awesome car and still loved by many today KAA
  5. NO BACK SEATS???? well the poor kids of tomorrow will find a way to enjoy the learning curve of "you know what" without a back seat, but damn they were fun days of my first car a old mini cooper. mind you She Who Must Be Obeyed says she was way more flexible then as was I 😉😉😉 KAA
  6. Looking forward to the updated information Tony, always appreciated KAA
  7. Welcome to the forum Mike, I am sure the great minds on here will do all they can to help you KAA
  8. Looks awesome Tony, beautifully designed and finished thanks for the Pic's, those voices calling out to you may need to be checked out when at the Doctor's next time 🤣🤣. Keep safe mate KAA
  9. Welcome to the forum Brett, I am sure many here can assist with ideas or issues KAA
  10. Hello again Sri, as in all things to do with cars it comes down to personal choice. We all have different tastes and different wants, the unit's do look good and as you posted they say it is plug and play and if that is the case anyone with some level of care and common sense can fit it. Personally for the cost there are many units around that price available at any good quality car audio places. with the cost of fitting also around the the same price. Have you made any decision?. If you do go with them my questions to them would include, do the units come with a facia panel to neatly fit the new unit? how up to date are the GPS maps? do they have free updates with the units? (as some do allow 1 or 2 free update available) talk about warranties on the unit and on their fitting if you get them to do the install. Keep us updated mate and good luck KAA
  11. I love it when Tony has a rant 🤣🤣 but in this case I agree, it isn't that tough to remove the cover to do any work and safely replace it, I fortunately have a great mechanic who knows how much we love and treat our car and does the same when in his capable hands. Yes a great improvisation of the nulon bottle, a handy trick I will remember for next oil drop which is due in about 1 months time. Keep Well KAA
  12. WOW that is damn freaky Ash, you would think an intermittent fault would be either up or down, have never had an issue with window switches in our Presara besides the mandatory recall for the master switch grease thing. Hope it now stays resolved and TY for the video it is handy just in case. Keep us up to date if it reoccurs. Keep Safe Mate KAA
  13. As always Tony gets the click to buy finger very twitchy LOL looks awesome Tony and something added to my wish list for sure. Thanks for the great images Tony they are appreciated KAA
  14. Sounds like a nightmare yes, I am sure that is the best option to once and for all solve the issue. There are many great head units out there for a decent price so that would be my suggestions save for a good quality head unit. KAA
  15. I am of the opinion that I would not even think about it because of the cost involved let alone the hassle with speedo and wiring, I am pretty sure you will find most of the upgraded wiring required for the extra gadgets will not even be behind the dash and therefore would need installing..so massive money output Like has ben said, I would live with what I have for now and save up for an upgraded model, at least that way you get what you want plus have a newer model to enjoy KAA
  16. Welcome to the forum Dave, same comments as Ashley and Tony would be interested in seeing your car and always happy to offer any advise needed there are many superb minds on here. KAA
  17. Hey Mike, yes same as Ash, I used the turtle wax headlight cleaner with excellent results, I made sure to tape off all surrounding areas to avoid any splash off and after applying by a cloth a nice film of the product I used my polisher to bring it up close to perfect and finished with a nice quality cloth for the final buff. Since doing them both about 8 months ago they still are crystal clean. I have got to say there are many different products at a bigger price but I will stick with what I know works. Good Luck mate just take your time and I am sure you will get a good result, let us see a before and after as it will aid others with similar issues KAA
  18. Happy Safe Easter all, Well Ash and Tony I also did some home maintenance stuff, just put up a sail over the BBQ area, and got the pump flowing in the pond on Friday, today was a taking the time giving the leather in the Presara a nice slow clean and treatment, took all of 1 bottle of a nice white chardonnay to do it as it was really enjoyable. tomorrow is like a few of you a family belated Christmas/ Easter get together at a brothers house, looking forward to it as no contact for over a year so will be great to see all in one place. Have a safe time all and enjoy we all have earned it big time. Hugs from myself and my Lady to all KAA
  19. Thanks for the update Miks, glad it has now finally been sorted out but what a hassle, As tony said SCA have a legal obligation to cover your costs, but as you have said they at least must be acknowledging that fact by supplying you a loan vehicle and working with you to recover the costs involved. I have never heard of that issue in any Aurion but like anything there is always one. Now it is fixed I hope your back to normal driving joy KAA
  20. Good photo's for the unit Garth, personally I would be scouting online for your closest Audio specialists, find a unit that does all you are after and then the connecting harness for existing wiring and the facia surround so it all sits nicely in your RAV, there are a lot available and once you find the one you like then asking tons of questions to do with install. Unless your really capable of installing it all yourself I would go with the pro's. Last thing you need is to have a short or incorrect wiring as it is so damn annoying to track wires. Let us know your outcome KAA
  21. Yes Ash Tony is our MUSE for all things service and detail wise, wish he was closer too me as I would just give him the fob and say go at it. He even has the secret stash of Nulon so all would be good. LOL KAA
  22. Awesome service report Ash, yes looks like all that effort and the continuous effort is giving you one sweet Aurion to enjoy. The oil on the housing still looks brand new, I will always stick to genuine filters, as they show their worth with excellent results. Looking forward to the detail work report Keep Well and Safe KAA
  23. Glad you have something to focus on now Rick, yes the curtain feature is a safety issue in case it is up when going into reverse it lowers. So hope now you can sort out your reverse camera. KAA
  24. Welcome to the forum Adam, I am sure any who can help on here will help! You said the Cam Belt was done 70,000klm before, Then I would start making a list of all service items you will need as personally I like to know things ARE done like cam belt, alt belt, filters, oil change, plugs etc at least the peace of mind of knowing things are new and done. Keep Well KAA
  25. TY Tony, I also had a few tear up moments over her sad loss, I recall seeing her take a transit van around the track, she had a wonderful talent and pray now she is flying some angels around heaven, she certainly deserves to leave her name on part of Nurburgring KAA
