  1. Spoke to the new owner of the Wed Wocket last night, and he said he's pretty sure he can lend it out for the day for the Show N Shine... Might have a word in the ear of a guy I know with a TRD Aurion as well.....
  2. Not Stereotypical Dave, just history hahahahaha Possibly, I had a black 2000 Levin back then. I was mates with Andrew, the stereo guy....
  3. You guys better start talking more about the upside down action, or your all banned.....:P

  5. Nie result.... it's the secret herbs and spices in the CES intake that make the result so special.... Good Work!
  6. Certainly the Rav4 Train can stop in Bracko on the way through.... I hope to confirm with our special guests early in the week regarding their appearance....

  10. HEY HEY HEY HEY HEY The thread asks for people to SHOW their ink, not talk about what they would like to get....
  11. Dude, sorry to see your car go...mate it is a bit ordinary... good luck locating it... Then why are you driving a Hilux???? I can't work out why you are such a mad keen supporter for the Commodore forum yet you own a Hilux...and hanging around on a Toyota forum dominated by Corolla's... And if you care about the cars than you do the pass times, this prolly explains why people with older commodores fit later model HSV kits, ie VU/VY kits on VN-VX.... I dunno, I can't explain why people would put a square-styled bodykit on a rounder-styled vehicle.... yeah, making an car looking weired is caring more for the car than the pass times.... What you have is not an opinion. By coming to a Toyota forum telling everyone that they are not real men cause we don't drive V8's or utes, is more like a statement of immaturity. If I were you I would either recant your comments or pack you sawg back into the back of your auto V6 and ping ding....... hang on, you can't....you don't even own the car yet....
  12. The rear demister should turn itself off when you shut the ignition off, so if you stopped the car and turned it off when you dropped her off, then yeah, this is normal. It is set like this in most cars, to prevent unrequired use of the demister, that is when you stqart your car then the next day, and may not need it yet it's still on.... If you didnt turn your car off, then this is not normal.... I can't explain why it would turn itself off as they are not on a timer...
  13. I thought this thread was supposed to be showing what tats YOU guys have... I have looked at the thread for ideas etc, and all I see is crap. Now, show me YOUR ink....
  14. Come on Rob....do it for Uncy Azzy...pweeeaaaaasse Always got your back Bren, that's what mates are for.....now, when you coming to detail the Rav :P Fair call Dave...... You didn't look too good either... lol Come on Rob....do it for Uncy Azzy...pweeeaaaaasse (De Ja Vu ) Listen guys, I'm not gonna single people out here, but when the Sydney meet was planned last year and there was talk about having one in Brisbane, I do not believe there was a Sydney Member that said it wasn't a good idea and nearly everyone indicated that they would support it. Those of us from Brisbane that came down certainly enjoyed the hospitality that was presented by the Sydney members. Some Sydney people spent a bit more time with us than others. Mark and the lads that came to meet us on the Friday night, Bill for taxi-ing us through Sydney to our motel, then taking us for the most gut upsetting hot dogs this side of the equator, etc etc etc, you all know who you are... Personally, I think you are all mad for driving the trip overnight, my personal suggestion is to leave at a sparrow's fart in the morning, say around 4:30 - 5:00. Out of Sydney, you should get to about Taree for a quick bite for breakfast, Coffs for lunch, Grafton for arvo tea, then into Brisbane at Dinner time. If that was done, I woyld probably arrange a meet point on the Southside late arvo on the Friday to then navigate you all to the F1 where most of you are prolly staying. Then you reverse this trip home on Monday. Please think about it guys, I know a lot of us gove people stick for not coming, but we seriously want people to come up. We want Sydney people (and Melbourne & Canberra guys too if they should so desire) to head up. We know the spots in Brissy to show you. We know our way around. We have something to suit everyone. We have twistie mountain drives for people that like that, we have shopping for Mish, and Photo oppotrunities for Dylan.....something for everyone... Come on guys, make an effort. I understand that some people generally have issues getting out of work, but not everyone, I find it impossible to believe that nearly all of you can not get off work.... There has been more than enough time notified for this for people to request RDO's, Flex, Annual Leave of shift swaps.... please please please please please....
  15. OK Guys, now SILVABULLIT & Northy will be coming to my place on Tuesday night to eat pizza.... 20. Hi Guys Picked up my New Rav4 a couple of weeks ago, and overall I am pretty happy with the car, except the fuel consumption. For a 2.4L auto, I am expecting a heck of a lot better consumption than what I have been getting. Rough calculations are indicating around 400 - 450 litres to the tank, thats around 7.2 - 8.2 litres/100km (based on using 55 litres, and not running the tank completly empty). Which is far less than the 9.6 (Auto) claimed by TMC. I was just wondering what other people were experiencing. Points to note: This is regarldess of myself or wife driving This is combo highway/city driving This is combo E10/RULP fuels The thing that gets to me the most about it is that coming from the 2ZZ Sportivo that sat between 4500 - 8000 rpm constantly was getting between 10.5 - 11.5 litres/100km nearly every tank.... The Auto Rav rarely gets over 3000rpm.... Thoughts? Cheers Aaron :)
  21. Try your local Toyota dealership or nearest Late Model Jap Auto Wrecker
  22. I'd use the 85% blends they use in south america if I could
  23. I guess you'd have to measure the actual diameter of the springs in the SX6 then the springs in the TRD and compare. Just cause the TRD sits lower, doesn't mean too much for this equation IMO, on what I have read from here, I would deduce that the diameter of the TRD springs is smaller than that of the SX6, hence why the TRD doesn't scrub (unless those with TRD's are not reporting them scrubbing)..... I can't figure out any other plausable explaination....
  24. Without knowing the interior of the Kluger, if the head unit is a stock TMC one (same as most Toyota's) then any DOuble-DIN Head Unit/Nav combo will fit (with some rewiring) Failing that, if the Kluger has a weird in dash integrated unit (same as Camry) then your screwed....only option then would be toi get a portable unit...
