  1. Sure did... unfortunately the video wasn't all that great. Damn the accent is such a turn-on though.
  2. Matt's Aurion (sorry... no creative alias)
  3. LOL. Despite the non-stop swearing... that made me laugh.
  4. Unfortunate to hear mate, but for a grill that is worth about $50, unfortunately you can't expect a high quality construction considering where it came from. I guess though that we all get a heads up about just how fragile these grills can be.
  5. So... has anyone tried out all the different scenarios? I was a little bored so I gave each one a try to see how it all tied together. At the end of it all... this advertising campaign doesn't have any effect in making me want to buy Lynx. If anything, it was advertising Keeley more.

  7. Search is your friend: Oil in spark plug tubes Also conveniently happens to be on the first page of the Camry forum as well where you also asked this question... ruling out the need for a search at this point in time.
  8. You have two subtle but completely different looks going there Lee. I would say that if you want the classy look, stay with the 20's, but the sporty look obviously goes with the 19's. The wheels alone make all the difference in this case. I guess it depends on what you want your car to be seen as. You know my view because there aren't enough sporty looking Aurions out there.
  9. No actually, the filter on sale in the link is for the Gen 6 V6 Camry in the States, which fits the Aurion. Despite the picture showing something else, the description does say: The 33-2355 as you have indicated may still fit the Gen 6 Camry, however for arguments sake, it is listed as a Rav 4 filter and has dimensions that do vary by a couple of millimetres compared to the Camry filter.
  10. Who the heck uses undercar lighting these days for a non-show car? That stuff kind of went out the window together with all the other Fast and the Furious craze that occurred years ago.
  11. The American Gen 6 (2007+) V6 Camry shares the same engine as the Aurion. The panel filter specified as the V6 2007+ Camry filter will fit.
  12. Yeah.. that's it. I'm packing up and buying a V8. You guys can work this out for yourselves. j/k
  13. I don't really have any seat cover recommendations with reference to looks, but all I want to say is to make sure that whichever ones you choose are designed to work with side airbags. The last thing you want is for a seat cover to have stitching that hinders the operation of the side airbag. As far as I can say, Toyota genuine seat covers are guaranteed to not affect the operation of these. Unfortunately though, they aren't particularly that stylish. Anyways if you are curious, the side airbags deploy kinda like this:
  14. Reputation mate.... reputation.
  15. You won't find much out there. The Aurion is not as greatly supported when compared to other popular cars out there on the market. Basically, apart from the intakes, the major cosmetic mods can be found at places like R.Syle Racing or other online places that stock parts for the Asian Camry.
  16. http://www.toyodiy.com Part reference only goes to 2007 but this covers the pre-facelift Aurion up to 2009. Just select region as 'OTHER'. And no... it doesn't list TRD part numbers. Also, for any other parts, I know the guy at my local Toyota dealer so I can get him to look up stuff for me.
  17. Just to further post observations here, this ABS check is usually its loudest the first time it does it for the day (basically when the engine is cold). Any other time, it is less noticeable, but you should still be able to hear it if you intentionally listen for it.
  18. Because it is a car specific item, and something that never really needs to be purchased separately (except for a case like yours), you will only find this from Toyota. The part number is as follows: 52114-06050 : BRACKET, FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING When you order it, tell them you will need the screws for it as well and they will be able to add that to it.
  19. I don't have my owners manual on me at the moment (as it is in a box being sent with freight from my last job), so don't quote me on this. I am fairly sure this is contained in the owners manual, but I only really skimmed over it. It is definitely contained in the service manual though, which is where that quote came from. Look, if you are concerned that the ABS actuator is making a sound on your car during the initial startup, then don't be. It is mean to be there. As the above quote from the service manual states "this is not a malfunction".
  20. When they stole your plate, did they also take the number plate mounting plate? One way to tell is if where your plate once was, is it the bare bumper, or is there a grey plastic assembly on there. The number plate screws directly onto this.
  21. It's in the manual for the simple reason that all of them operate the same. I would be more concerned if it didn't make any noise.
  22. Maybe to try to listen very very closely next time you start your car then select drive afterwards.
  23. I finally got the chance to look at that now that I have a proper broadband connection. That is a pretty well done advertising campaign I must say. Entertaining.
  24. Man... sometimes the most simplest of answers always seems to escape me. Auri, does this sound like what you are hearing:
  25. Sorry for the epic epic thread revival... but this shall settle the score. Warning: The following link is definitely Not Safe For Work. You have been warned. http://tinyurl.com/ydhob9a
