  1. It's not a cover. That's the actual number plate itself.
  2. No, no. The Toyota fascia kit requires spacers. The only reason that unit doesn't have spacers is because it is a Toyota OEM deck that is made wider and fills the gaps.
  3. :yahoo: :yahoo: I love photos of my car.
  4. I know :(. I had decked out my 97 camry with a decent system that would pump, made a custom parcel shelf and everything. I loved it. On the Aurion, I know it has a good system but it sounds too stocky. There is a huge difference from a better after market system from stock speakers. But at the moment I don't have that sort of many to blow. :( I'm running stock speakers. The sub is what drowns out the rattles. Let the rattles become someone else's' problem :P: Please wait a few seconds for Video to Load!
  5. Damn that is hot Michael.
  6. Sorry mate, you lack of English made this hard to understand at first. Go to the top of the first post, click on 'options' in the upper right, then select view mode as 'standard'. Brembo is just a brand name. There are other brakes out there that you can make fit. Depends on if you want to go larger and if so... by how much?
  7. Autobarn has silicone hose for around $3 per inch. You only need like 2 inches of the 2.5 inch and 1 inch of the 2 inch to do a dodgy job.
  8. Fair enough. I would say his satisfaction was all in his head. No chip can adjust a Toyota engine though the OBD port to give you power gains. Unless of course he did get a true piggy-back... then that is a different story.
  9. Sorry mate. Only have a 3.25 to 3 inch reducer Just spend like $10 on some 2 inch and some 2.5 inch silicone hose and overlap them. At least it will run.
  10. It doesn't take that long.... especially when the engine is at operating temperature when your take the drain plug off. As for me....did nothing to her. Once again parked her outside of work exposed to the elements. Feel kind of sorry for her, but I will treat her to a good sponge bath tomorrow because she deserves it.
  11. You should search around these forums: Toyota Nation - Gen 5 & 6 Due to the larger population of the Gen 6 Camry over there (which shares the same outlay as the Aurion in terms of wheels), there are many people there with all kinds of wheels. A +35mm offset is rather common amongst those guys as it gives a more flush look. A more generic answer from here with links to help:
  12. It will take more incentive than just you and Guni turning up (no offense guys) to get more people to come out for the night. Krispy Kremes seem to work on occasion :P
  13. Personally I would prefer the one that Toyota sell for around $30 (not dissing yours czaja74... just a preference). Those ones have edges on it to help 'blend' it in a little better. They look like this one:
  14. Yeah... because we need another jacka** to add more s*** to the board. I did consider it as a joke, but when it comes to things like this.... I'll just assume the person is an idiot. Anyways, if you think outside the box about my response, it is answered in such a way that if a noob does a search without even looking at the "Previously covered topics" thread firstly, then they will most likely click on this heading because it is an obvious title and will then direct them to that thread.
  15. You guys complaining about rattles need to start getting into loud music. It's amazing what it covers up.
  16. eBay mate. Cost me AUD$365 shipped. Took 5 days from the moment it got picked up by USPS.
  17. It was Chris here that got that Volo OBDII flasher. He got no gain from it either. Hey Chris, as for the turbo news, so far the only reports of a 2GR-FE turbo job is mentioned here: Turbocharged 2GR-FE news
  18. As written on the packet itself: 70% Isopropyl Alcohol. Basically just to clean the surface from dirt and oils. Just an alternative to metho.
  19. Cheers. As I said, you can't guarantee that it was the fuel. Okay, let's put it this way. If you read my post here, you will see that I had accumulated ABS/VSC errors. If I simply emptied my fuel and refilled it then proceeded to reset my ECU, you would jump to the same conclusion that it was the fuel wouldn't you? But as I said in my post, it was random ABS/VSC errors that after resetting them, did not return.
  20. Try jiggling your passenger seat belt by hand when it is in the retracted position? Is that the sound you are getting. That is a commonly overlooked knocking/rattle on the passenger side.
  21. A birthday shoutout to Sean (cruzer). HAPPY 17TH BIRTHDAY MATE!!!! Hope you have a great day that is made even better by your car passing all required checks. Edit: Posted at 12:00am on Wednesday the 20th of January. Forum clock is a bit off from the looks of it.
  22. You have to be kidding right? You can't expect to be spoon fed. I would have thought that a member like yourself who has been here for that long would already be aware of the thread at the top of this forum... as well as the search button. PREVIOUSLY COVERED TOPICS - HAVE A READ BEFORE POSTING AS IT MAY ALREADY HAVE BEEN COVERED

  24. Seriously guys, if you are considering putting money down for a new car, you should test drive it first and make a judgement from that on your own. Asking others for their opinions on which car is better will not be as accurate as your own personal review. What others may think is annoying, you may not notice and/or have an issue with. Most powerful new Toyota... that's why I got the Aurion. Rattles weren't part of my assessment.
  25. Despite the fact this is going against what I am about to say, I just thought I would say: In an effort to keep this thread clean and on topic, it would be good if there were no photo-quotes and to keep chatter to a minimum. I'd say each photographer (Rowan, Michael, Ray,anyone else I have forgotten) should post the photos they have taken here and if a photo meet is to be organised, then a new upcoming meet thread should be made (or a single photo meet update thread) and linked to here by said photographer. Just the way I think would be useful in keeping this thread beautiful. Feel free to do whatever you want. This is just a wish :P.
