  1. Yeah... kind of like my stopwatch.
  2. Despite the fact that the more I look at it, the more I see Ford, I still like the entire facelift range of the Aurions. Should have asked here where there are photos as well: Facelift aurion photos And as well, everyone has their own opinions. Asking this question is like asking a group of people which ice cream flavour is the best.
  3. I gotten a noise before. Someone behind beeping their horn at me
  4. Yeah Mick, I've got you covered.
  5. I'll still race ya. V6 FTW.
  6. In reference to those bulbs with a light blue tinting to give a whiter light, depending on how good your eyes are, they perform okay. They are definitely worse than a more yellow light, but not as bad as those eBay ones with a heavy blue tint to try and make the output really blue/white.
  7. If you use a 10W30 or a 10W40 oil and don't want to spend the large amount for Mobil 1, I would highly recommend Fuchs Titan Super GTO. It's a fully synthetic oil and at $40 per 5 litres, you can't go wrong.
  8. Quite simple. When registered, it is said to be of the year that is on the compliance plate. If it says 2009, it is registered as such, even if it is released in 2008. Same goes for the second question.
  9. Yeah, the one in front of the Buffet Garden. I like that place cause it's one of the few places out there that make a strawberry milk with pearls (proper strawberry milk and not milk tea). And at $3.50 for a large, it's good value... plus they put in a good serving of pearls. All good mate. Don't mind the drive. Plus I get my points. LOL. This thread is racking up quite a lot of posts. I wonder if the forum ever has a limit.

    A/C Odour

I just make sure to drive with the duct set to 'fresh air' whenever possible. Ideally it would be good if the A/C had better anti-bacterial properties but because it doesn't, this is the best and easiest option in the meantime. Now I don't get much odour when I turn my A/C on and off. I'm a little lucky though as well cause if I do get a case of bad odour, I can just borrow an ozone generator when I'm parked on-site at a hotel and leave that in the car for an hour pointed up at the A/C unit.
  11. I would... but, I am usually pretty unlucky when I try and park quickly in a loading zone. It doesn't bother me though cause I wash my car at the Shell along Granard Road on the way in. Driving never bothers me really. They are going to open one in sunnybank plaza... EasyWay does the job for me. Plus I have quite a few point accumulated. I just wish it was closer.
  12. I thought you may have been from QLD from what I could see of your numberplate in your ride thread. As said, check the first post for details. We only have the one meet in the Brisbane area. I'm guessing it will be clear tomorrow, so the loop it is. Meet also starts from 8pm now. Would be good for you to turn up as we need more ZRE's Too far? It's more inner-north than northside. It's 15 minutes away from Sunnybank Plaza. In my opinion, that is not far at all. I live in Sinnamon Park and drive to Sunnybank Plaza (to get EasyWay) then head from there to the meet.
  13. Great photos. The HDR ones are gold. I guess it shows how bad of a photographer I am since I can't produce such good results with my T200.
  14. Yeah. I can wait B) I've got your helmet to return as well Mick.
  15. Yep... and I can't wait to see a total solar eclipse in Australia.
  16. Nup. This is the WALD kit:
  17. Oh wells Ash. Just hurry and and get those k's onto your TRD. I expect you to be going on a Nebo run next week.
  18. Yup. Just have to be careful so that you don't heat it up too hot so it doesn't damage the electronics inside. I'd imagine the LED's in the Aurion tail lights lasting for the life of the car, but you can't really tell at this point in time. Unfortunately for the OP though, replacing was his only option.
  19. You are right in saying that. Manufacturers use that so that when a shop puts the new pads in for you, they don't need to go through the typical bedding in process. My old Bendix General CT had some titanium stripe on it which meant that bedding them in the traditional way isn't necessary. I chose not to believe it though and bedded my pads in like they should.
  20. I'll be there with tools to help fix your problem. No Mooloolaba tomorrow thankfully. Hmmm. I guess I could do a Nebo run again this week... then another one the week after. Bye bye tires.
  21. Yes LED's are supposed to last longer, but this is when subjected to ideal conditions (perfect temperature, smooth current and voltage, etc). Unfortunately, in the car, it doesn't experience the best of all conditions and may have a tendency to fail prematurely. The entire tail light is sealed. If you were game and wanted to change out just the busted LED's or driver board, you need to pull them apart the same way that you take your headlights apart.
  22. It varies. This week:
  23. +1 mate. It's not that I don't want to do it, but boy it's sure getting repetitive. Though last week was worth it cause I don't think those Honda fanboys saw it coming. Plus I HAVE to wash my car on a Thursday before the meet and a Nebo run ruins my work. I don't see why not. I need someone to talk to while driving.
  24. I'm not sure about what is available around your area. Usually around here in Australia we can go to a place that specialises in auto-electronics like stereos and they usually carry alarms as well. For those that aren't as knowledgeable on the subject, they can install them as well. It all depends on what you have available to you locally. Otherwise you can purchase an alarm online (such as a Viper Alarm) and then get someone to fit it for you who knows what they are doing.
