  1. Well after some research it appears to be a height control sensor. http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_J_2005_TOYOTA_COROLLA_ZZE123G-AWFQF_8401.15.html
  2. That looks a lot like a Load Sensing Valve, they are commonly used in utes and light to heavy trucks to increase braking to the rear wheels when there is additional load in the rear. However, when there is no load, the braking force is not required to be as strong so the valve reduces the braking pressure to the rears and prevent spinning. Due to the car being lowered and the axle being closer to the chassis, the valve thinks there is a greater load and would be applying more pressure. I would suggest you have it professionally adjusted as they are often very sensitive and if you mess it up it could have serious consequences.
  3. You have no idea :P Yeah they are a b*tch to modify, working on them in general is ok.
  4. Anthony(STYLSH) has a Quaife LSD. SAFC are simply OK, nothing better nothing worse. I used one in the past and had no issues, but nothing beats a stand alone of course. You would buy one only if you were trying to keep costs down.
  5. Yeah...He's a great guy I love the bit where we "refuse to send our stuff back"... http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/12-feedback-buyers-sellers-vendors/405291-gabe-trd4life-glp-motorsports.html
  6. The issue with the Gen 4 is the lack of aftermarket support/interchangeable parts. It is also pushed closer to it's limits than the rest as a stock engine.
  7. It is much cheaper than the OEM light, also cheaper than the DEPO knockoffs.
  8. Any chance of posting up a video?
  9. For future reference, Self Serve sell engines for less than that.
  10. I think the ducktail is the nicest looking spoiler of any of the Aurion ones.
  11. Are the engine mounts, ball joint and sway bar bushes all good? If not then you may have to start looking at a new box. Is it manual or auto? I would contact http://www.selfserveautoparts.com.au/ before going interstate, they are very good on prices normally.
  12. The plates say it all. To top it off it is one hell of a fun car to drive.
  13. Steve's has MANY extra features and is cared for really well.
  14. Check feedback, other than that, who knows.
  15. One a major downside with braided lines however is they work very well as hacksaws if not retained correctly...I'll let you imagine what the possibilities are.
  16. That dust is a sign there should be minimal if any rust.
  17. To elaborate on what Mick said. Bi-metallic Vacuum Switching Valve Coolant Temp Sensor and Start Injector Time Switch.
  18. Very nice, especially like the 5S-GTE build.
  19. They will generally be the same size(single din). It is more complex in terms of wiring than unplugging and refitting, soldering/wiring diagrams are usually required.
  20. Replacing it is the smart decision. A decent unit can be had for about $100-$200 at most car audio places, however the more feature the more dollars. Add about $50-$100 on for installation as well, unless your are capable off installing it yourself.
  21. So you must really hate when people type like this then?
  22. There isn't much room to service a car in the kitchen...
