Thanks guys.

Yeah I really like the glossy black mesh part but there's a problem with it.

I can see the radiator inside through when it's sunny outside and you see the car with a bit of distance.

The flashing of silver colour of radiator frame, under sun, makes the looking of grill doesn't exist where it supposed to be. <_<

The light reflection works really badly on the grill. EeeeeeeeeeeeeeK!!!!

I love Evo especially 6 & 6.5 but what you're doing is totally non-sense UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE CONCERNED.

Thanks for the stereotyping. So I guess you are calling me an old man then? Look at the Camry in the US. From a poll running on the American Camry forums, it appears that quite a few drivers in the 16-24 age bracket drive a Camry. There are different levels of trim each with a different target market.

Also, as a matter of fact, the Aurion was never initially called a Camry. It was designed in Australia as a new car in addition to the Camry. The only reason why other markets have the Aurion labelled as a Camry is to fit into the market more appropriately. It shares similar design traits to the Camry, but that was from an efficiency perspective on Toyota's behalf.

Yeah, I know. I'm not trying to back up my reasoning for getting an Aurion. There is no need to. All of my friends (as young as 18) absolutely love the car. It's definitely not an 'old man's car'. I'm just annoyed at trolls like this that have nothing better to do except make fun of what they can't have (what's that Black_Oni? Did I just stereotype you).

Both had a couple of V8 donks that would give a MAN a hard-on. Unfortunately though - probably make you reverse out the brown station wagon in your spiderman undies.

      Aftermarket Air Intake

      The camry/aurion NA ones fit fine with the TRD. The throttlebody is the same diameter etc. The main issue with them is the breather pipes are setup differently but that's not a big deal. I've not seen one designed specifically for the TRD(There are lotus ones but the engine is orientated differently). Some of the intakes designed for the NA version are as follows: -K&N: 69-8611TS -AEM: AEM 21-870C -AF Dynamic: 0715-TV-HS -HPS Shortram: 827-534 I designed and printed a MAF pipe and filter enclosure with an attachment to goto the stock air intake locations but never got around to create the pipe that connects the two together, If you have the ability to print in a high temp resistant material I can probably share my files. I personally use the AEM intake and it works and sounds well.

      RZN169 Poor fuel economy and low/rough idle at cold start up

      Hi all, First time writter. Long term reader. I have a RZN169r 1999 Toyota Hilux 3rzfe Manual 4WD with 425,000KM. Which we have owned from 130,000KM. Since about the 400,000km mark (it had a new/used 138,000km engine only, installed at 385,000KMs) it has been using fuel and idiling rough. I'm getting 100kms less then usual. We would normally get 450-550kms per tank. Now getting 350km-400kms. Our long term mechanic of 20 years retired a few years ago and I have no one in my local area who knows these engines or who I trust. Any sugestions on who I can take my car to? I also have no faith in my local Toyota Dealer. I'm in Sydney NSW. Thank you in advance.

      Purchasing 2014 Prado GXL - Requesting Inputs

      Hello, Thanks for reading my post. We're in the middle of the process of buying 2014 Prado GXL from a private buyer in Brisbane. It has 107K km on the odometer, we arranged an independent inspection and only noticeable issue came out of the inspection is presence of rust. Inspector said general wear (ageing) and rust to the components consistent with the age and mileage. I've attached some of the images(related to rust) from the inspection, please review and let me know if I should be concerned about any future issues or as the inspector mentioned is the rust presence is expected for a 10-year old Prado.
