Anyone else tried these seat covers ?
these seat covers look pretty good, but I've had bad experience when trying to fit some cheaper ones I bought online - they say custom fit, anyone else tried them ? Would love to know before I buy them, thanks all https://mycustomcar.com.au/ -

am2 fuse blowing
Hello, i have a 1996 starlet The problem is when i turn the key the fuse blows, and i have been looking over the wiring and can’t find any shorts or damaged wire. The car would not crank over because of the fise blowing. I found out that if i disconnect the transponder key ecu the fuse is holding, but as soon as i connect the transponder the fuse blows. So i wonder if there is something I can try out? should i just buy a new transponder box or is it something else i could try? and is it not kinda wierd that the box is the problem? I have looked inside the box and cant see any corrosion in the box -

Toyota Celica '96 5S-FE no spark
Hi everyone, I have spent too much time on my Celica and even my mechanic is stumped at figuring out the issue so any tips will be appreciated. Here is what has been done, immobiliser disbabled, distributor replaced, igniter replaced, EFI relay replaced, and EFI 15AMP fuse is not blown. I tried jumping E1 and TE1 in the diagnostic port to try and get a code from the CEL but it doesn't light up, I think it might be burned out so I will have to get on that. I am now clueless about what to do next, it could be the ECU but I can't find any pointers too that. -

Toyota Camry 2003 Driver seat recline issue
Hi guys, so i just bought a 2003 camry. So something is wrong with the driver seat (manual recline). When i recline it at a certain place it locks in but if you put ur body force the seat tilts back a bit and locks to a different position. Looking help if someone knows whats wrong and how to fix it. -

GR Corolla GTS Issues
Update: Somerton Park Jarvis Toyota had the car for a full 9 hours and said they didn't test most of the faults then refused to give me the paper work. Andy the service guy and his manager Tim were dismissive and said they wouldnt investigate the problems. They said the adaptive cruise control braking is a known issue. They confirmed Android Auto wireless will not work with this model which is not what the sales guy told me i was very specific in my wording as i wanted to make sure wireless android auto was supported and was told yes it is supported. They said they cant test unless the car is hot and want me to drive for 90 minutes to 2 hours before bringing it in. Ive dealt with CMI Toyota over the last 5+ years and have had great dealings but this dealership seems like the other end of the spectrum. Upon getting home i noticed the right rear mag has been curbed. This dealership seems really untrustworthy. -

GR Corolla GTS Issues
Anyone else with a GR Corolla having issues like these? Just had mine for 2 weeks from Somerton Park - Jarvis Toyota and having heaps of issues with the car unfortunately. Its booked in to be checked out tomorrow, but they were meant to test the car prior to delivery of the vehicle. The AWD issues seem to be common to the corolla when i do a quick google search? Issues with Nov 2022 GR Corolla GTS IMT is not functioning after 30 minutes. Light is on but wont match revs on down shift. This is reproducible - happens every single time imt is turned on. Some noise and thud/clunking can feel it occasionally when turning right. Changing gears the drivetrain makes a thud can feel a clunking sound. AWD system issues? Clutch to the floor and gears are crunching going into 2nd and 3rd was after driving for roughly 90 minutes first long drive on Thursday. Has happened again since then. Pressing accelerator revs go up but no acceleration then feels spongy and not responsive? Even when pressing accelerator pedal harder there is no acceleration. Seems to occur when car is hot. Was told by sales that Android Auto wireless will work. It will not work with my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra - it fails to pair and start then endlessly fails in a loop trying to pair. The software is the latest version on my android phone and have updated car via wifi with the Toyota October 24 updates. Could that have caused other issues when the Toyota update was applied? Music stops playing when going over bumps or speed bumps - this is both annoying and dangerous to press start again when driving and not stationary, happens multiples times each day on commute to/from work… Adaptive cruise control brakes hard sometimes or basically comes to a crawl when there is a car next to you or a parked car or object even though you are 1m+ away from them with current trajectory of the vehicle so no possible collision with the cars/objects. I don't like going from 60 to 30 for no real reason, this happens too often - seems way over tuned for avoidance. I never experienced anything like this with Adaptive cruise control in my 2018 XT Forester. Wind down the passenger window after the car has been wet/rinsed - about 150-200ml water drained down onto the door trim!! i can't even see where that much water could be stored/pooling. So far it seems like this car is a Lemon lol -

New Vehicle Key Remotes
I've had 2 services and still no 2nd key. Service has no idea and says talk to sales. You'd think they were separate entities. Its nows 14 mths and still nothing. On delivery they gave 12mths roadside assist. That's ok except i had 9ths left on my old car that got trasfered and couldn't be pro rated. They didn't extend roadside asist when there was still no sign of key. If I could get onto Toyota I would but like delivery times they push you onto the dealers.... hopeless!!!
