Three Ferrari 360 Spiders wowing the crowd doing burnouts just inches from each other at Top Gear's Live show are apparently fakes, based on Toyota MR2s. Well, at least they weren't Fiero-based.
The replica Ferraris, reportedly based on Toyota MR2 underpinnings, were produced at a fraction of the cost of the real McCoy

after eadign that, it makes me feel like putting a kit frame to make my car into a supra hehe. with the fraction of the cost. but i wonder what type of music they would have played....

:lol: Headline should be... Top Gear Fans got STOOGED!!!

Obviously if they discontinued the 360s in 2005... High doubts they'd be able to get their hands on 3 of them now for the show.

But at least they used Toyotas :D

To be honest, I didn't spot the difference... Mind you, I've never heard a 360 in the flesh, and the tyre squealing and fireworks going off were very effective distractions :rolleyes:

Meh, doesn't bother me too much, the skids that they were doing weren't amazing anyway and the music just made it all flat anyway. Was all the way up the oxygen seats but could still feel the heat from the flamethrowers
