Hi Chris, Appreciate your feedback. Does it mean Aisin Disc is the OEM pads? What would use the Sumitomo Caliper brake pads? -

Front end clunk and driveers front tyre moves
Ive just had the front end suspension, cv joint, upper and lower control arms and wheel hub all replaced in my 2010 hilux 4wd. Now when at almost full lock left hand down there is a loud clunk noise and the hole front drivers tyre shifts. What could cause this?I have dared to to drive it any further then about 10-15 metres. Any help would be greatly appreciated. -

Multimedia screen adjustments.
I visited my dealer John Cole Toyota in Atherton North Queensland for our 1000 km check on 18/06/2024 on our 2024 Hilux SR, Stock No: 11607239 I had 2 questions about the multimedia screen which I am not fully satisfied with the answers from them. I emailed Toyota Customer Service and were told to go back to the dealer In the 2nd section of the Navigation and Multimedia System Owner’s Manual which applies to my model, Page 28 in the 2nd section, I cannot customize the screen or change the layout to where “audio “and “phone” are in the ¼ size boxes and eco in the half size. Basically, the “audio” word is not highlighted and cannot be selected. On page 56, the “auto change to screen” is missing from my screen, so cannot be selected. My previous 2016 Hilux 410 WPV had both these features on the screen. Can these head units be updated to show these features as outlined in the manual? I am hoping you can help with my enquiry. Anybody else noticed this set up -

Remote not working properly
I'm guessing door lock actuator, but which one? Any of them that are faulty can prevent the rest from operating. At least that's how other cars I've driven work. Just take to Toyota. $280 is crazy though.😳 -

Traction Control Prado 150 2016
Hey Everyone. Thought I would throw this out to the community and see if anyone had any ideas. Recently had my steering rack replaced which is a big job obviously. Long story short, ever since I got my Prado back traction control activates when I enter a compressed left turn on the highway on bends that required a 75 km speed sign. Only happens when going left. Toyota acknowledges that they have stuffed something but after several attempts say they can’t fix it and are telling me I have to remove my OME suspension kit which has been on it since new. I know this is going to be a bit of a battle but was wondering if anyone had any idea on what direction to take to find what may be the issue. They have replaced steering sensors, messed with my tyre pressure etc to no avail. Many thanks. -

Rough cost of replacement bumper?
Check out the dates of the posts your replying to 👍 chance is that member isn't on here anymore. These forums are fairly quiet & the people that frequent it still, most probably don't have the answer to your remote issue unfortunately. -

Remote not working properly
I recall seeing a video a while back about the keyfobs internal contacts not making proper contact with the battery so it would only work intermittently depending on battery orientation/luck. Might be worth having a look inside and bending back any contacts that look like they may not have a strong connection to the battery. EDIT: Oh just noticed you mentioned it locks but may not unlock, My idea might not be a solution to that issue. Could be worth a look for free though. -
