Removal of all Chrome badging from the rear of the car...

Addition of Black Toyota logo badge...

Addition of Carbon-Fibre look plate trim...

Removal of big-a55ed sticker...

Thoughts & opinions???? (Not that I care now cause this is how its staying... :P )

Eddy,

When I removed the badges, I simply picked at the corner of the badge with my fingernail to lift it slightly. Then when you see the sticky stuff behind it starting to expand, use a long blade from one of those extendable box-cutters and carefully cut the sticky stuff.

When the badge is removed, you should have a outline of the car body of the badge left over from the sticky stuff.

I 'CAREFULLY' used turps on a rag to rub the sticky stuff off. When it was pretty much gone, I used another clean soft cloth with Isocol (Rubbing Alcohol) to clean it up.

Then I cleaned the car like normal.

Then I polished the sh!t out of it, because you could still faintly see where the badge was.

I dunno if this was how Craigs was done, but mine certainly needed the polishing because of the red colour of the car.

Cheers

Looks really good. The black is the ducks nuts with the red paint work. The carbon trim really goes well with the red. I think it would look not so good on the silver though (probably stick out just a little too much).

I would have voted yes to that look in a poll.
