Balck or White ?

Recommended Posts

hey everyone.

I'm in the process of buying a Toyota aurion atx model. I'm just looking at an 07 model as i dont want to go over the top. But im having the dilemma of what color to go for. I love the look of the black coz they look sexy but there doesn't seem to be too many around here in Victoria for sale. But then the white all so looks clean cut but i dont know if i like the back end of them compared to the black. Everyone's saying not to get a black one coz there to hard to keep clean and to hot.

Would love to know what everyone's opinions and experiences are? :D

Blaaaaaaaaaack, everyone has white :)

I don't understand about black being harder to clean? The dirt wouldn't show up as much as it would on a white car? :P

I know right? Ive had black and white and they're just as annoying as each other :l

Get black!

Cars appearance when Clean -> Appearance when dirty

Gloss White -> Dull White

Gloss Black -> Dull grey.

White traditionally does hide imperfections/dirt better, at the trade off of not looking at good when clean as Black does.

Still if I had a choice I'd get a black car any day instead of white.

Well i couldn't find the right black one or a white one. But I did find my self an extremely fantastic Caribbean blue one. So iam now the proud owner of a AURION. :)

Its actually an awesome color i even like it better then the black because it stands out heaps.

And the car just keeps on surprising me every time i drive it.

I upgraded from an ****ty 94 vr commodore to an exceptional AURION and loving every inch of it. :D

I used to own a 94 VR Commodore, lets just say I've almost replaced every mechanical engine part when I had it haha. :lol:

Congrats on your purchase!

My VT (1997) Commodore when I owned it

New Interior + wiring harness + BCM + ECU

Rebuilt engine + radiator + various other engine bay bits

New suspension, all around plus camber kits

Now consider that all the above was done simply as repairs, not mods. :blink:

Loving the Aurion, but I find myself with too much free time considering I'm not having to repair it constantly - plus I have this weird stuff I believe is called money in my wallet.

If you want the car for love - get black

If you want the car for transport - get white
