u dont need headlight and bonnet protectors

ruins the style in my opinion

$27.5 is how much they're all going for now

so pretty standard price

carpet mats is really all u need

the rest just get aftermarket

much cheaper

toyota sports grill.

tinted windows

full tank of fuel

toyota eyelids

leather cleaner/softener

get anything you can for free mate.

but if you can con em good enough to get sports grill/eyelids that would be a deal.

wish i had know about the grill and eyelids prior to buying mine wouldve made them fit em or not brought the car.

oh also tell em you know they are stopping production of the sportivo in south africa. and that you have read somewhere that there gonna release the japan version early next year. then tell em that the one ya wanna buy will be worth nothing compared to the japan version. see if they blink an eye to it and hit em up for more gear or more cash off it.

after a 3,000+ km drive across the country and back (Wollongong - Adelaide - Wollongong) I wish I had bonnet a protector now. I just cleaned all the bugs off my car (will post a pic as soon as I get the photos off my camera) and there are stone chips everywhere.:angry::angry:

but yeah must haves are Sportivo Pedals, Tined Windows, Rear Skirt and Alarm.

its better to get tinted windows aftermarket

the dealer just rips u off

they quoted me 360 darkest legal

got it done for 220 darkest legal

from tint-a-car

thats saving of 140 man!

u can buy front strut bar with that

tinted windows + front strut bar = great deal

isn't it a saving if you can get it for free, thrown into the drive away price???

That is what we are talking about... mine were $275 at delivery btw

oh i thought u guys were tryna make him buy it from the dealer

hahah

yes get all that was mentioned

i scammed my dealer when i bought my sportivo

he threw in the grill and mats

because i got the sports pedals

told him i dont have much money, ill bring customers, stuff like that

a week later i cancelled the sports pedals

so ending up getting the grill and mats for free

without having to buy the pedals haha

As I was getting a brand newie fresh off the boat when I brought mine I had to make a few compromises.

All of the things I wanted thrown in couldnt be. So I picked the dearest stuff to be thrown in and was offered cost price for anything additional I wanted.

Thrown in: Tints, pedals, carpet mats

Cost price: dash mat, hatch loading mat, bonnet protector

...and yes you do need the bonnet protector!

To be honest I wasn't fussed over headlight protectors as the headlights are poly carbonate but my wife nagged to get them(it is her car) so I got them and fitted them up then decided to paint the tops of the headlight out which made it look heaps better. The car was 2 weeks old when she was driving to work and a tip truck about a km in front must have flicked up a large rock which she didn't see till it hit the headlight portector, shattering it in about 3 places but not a mark on the headlight.

I say all that to say this; headlight protectors@$75. Headlight @$330.

Need I say more....

Hi,

Got my sportivo '05 model two months ago!

Got it for $28,000 driveaway inc 5yrs warranty! So def think $27.5K is a good buy!

It's in red, cause red goes faster, but think about the extra warranty its good peace of mind considering how much ???? there are about the gear box (1st and 2nd shift) The way i think of it the extra bit u might fork out might save u a few grand in the future if your unlucky to wreck your gearbox!

Anyway upto u, but definintely try to squeeze things out at cost price, its a good idea, wish i did that a bit more!

Cheers

two beers B)
