Does aurion touring has speed limiter or indicator when exceed preset speed such as 60km/ hr ?

Posted

Correct, they all do using the buttons below the clock as mentioned above. You can set 2 or 3 different ones, I dont find the controls all the intuitive or conveniently located on the dash but its better than nothing.

Is there a button below the clock ?

I will check later, thanks.

Hi Jinx, don't mean to sound stupid but have you checked your owners manual? Pretty sure the info you need will be in there. Might take a bit of finding though. I have the older shape aurion and the info is listed under operation of instruments and controls - other equipment. Look for clock info in the manual. Hopefully they haven't changed the manual too much.

I don't use it, find it too annoying, beeping whenever I have to pass a truck or some other slow moving vehicle

That clock is different to mine.

That looks like it doesn't have a speed alert.

Jinxu have you tried looking in the centre display there is alot of user settings in there that can be adjusted

I have a GSV50R and despite much searching cannot find a speed alert. There is nothing in the owners manual I can find to do with this. Maybe the Presara or ZR Sportivo has one but my Prodigy certainly hasn't. Bit of a bummer really because the speed can get away from you without realising it.

I find I don't really need a speed alert, because if you need to worry about your speed its usually when you don't have much traffic and have a open road ahead of you, I just use cruise control in those cases, because if im in traffic then chances are that the traffic is moving slow anyway

When I used to own a 2002 Mitsubishi Magna TJ Series 2 Executive sedan (written off in accident caused by hot uni chick), the car came with speed alert and it helps me not to get busted and never got fines with it cos while I do use cruise control, the cruise control can actually run away from you when on slight uphill or downhill.

When I later got the silver aurion (and now black aurion), the first thing I did was to find where the speed alert button was and I couldn't bloody find it! I never honestly did think to check manual so I will check it. I think it's one of the last Touring models built before the new Aurions came out

Couldn't find it on touch screen settings nor user manual for touring model.

I don't use it, find a bit annoy any way. Just wondering why toyota removed this feature for new Aurion. : p

I own a GSV50R ZR6 2014, and can tell you that the car does not come with a speed alert.
