Weight Reduction

Recommended Posts

Just wonder why the Right Seat is 1.5kg heavier than the Left Seat?

60:40 split fold seats ;)

i reckon the biggest difference made was not just removing the spare wheel, but the backrest, which weighed a substantial amount. i reckon their height was also a major factor. after all that was removed, the rear end of the car was like almost back to stock ride height  that's with standard low kings.

and this was northy's old 1zz trying to lose weight b4 the infamous darlington day :D

You guys have weighed seats, wheels plastic bits...etc But have you weighed a stock airbox and then the CAI. The majority of you that are racing have a CAI instead of the airbox in there

I was going to do that when I had the CAI out... Oh well.

I can go and weigh my airbox easy enough as its all together, but it's painted so will be slightly, very slightly heavier.
