At about 5:10pm Caltex Bracken Ridge on Gympie Rd - A very smooth black Prefacelift(?) Corolla (non sportivo) debadged except for chrome toyota rear symbol and 1.8 badge on side. Very dark tint and nice chrome wheels and a thin chrome strip around the rear lights. not usually a fan of chrome wheels, but the chrome detail on the car really made it look the part.

I would have said something about the Forums to the guy but I was in a massive hurry to make it in time to pick up the rolla from the guys respraying my front bar.

Red facelift on Mt Gravatt-Capalaba Rd, ###-IYD

That sounds like mine - bought it new in Nov of 05. Just came across this site looking for popular / easy mods, at the moment it's bone stock.

There are a few I've seen along there; another red pre-facelift, lowered, coming from Capalaba way, and a silver facelift with pink plates that I haven't seen in a while heading out towards Cleveland. SuperDave, is yours the black one with the RunX badge on the back?

Posted

Mine is the lowered RunX out that way. Was it you I revved at to get your attention? :P

The site has a lot of info for mods, but if you have time to come to a meet thats the best chance to ask questions.

Dark blue stivo next to the train line in salisbury.

seen a few around lately just haven't posted.

Was one Corolla i saw Black no stivo badges, skirts anything. But a VVTL-i sticker on the hatchlid. Nice set of 16's.

Cute chick driving it too!

Is it uncommon for a stock corolla to have a 2zz?

to get a 2zz in a corolla it has to be a sportivo, unless they have done an engine swap.
