Hi all

Moderating team is undergoing a bit of a shuffle so to speak and we are looking for 2 new mods to join the moderating team.

Please PM your nomination to the following mods:

Silvabullit

Northy

Xoom

OH84BY

Micky Tee

Big Bum

Egene

Cut off date will be 22nd December 2006.

Once all nominations are received the 4 members who poll most nominations will then be put to a vote.

We are not adding 2 more moderators but are replacing 2 that aren't on here anymore or who are not participating regularly enough.

So no we are not wanting 2 more mods BUT are replacing 2 inactive so to speak ones.

Comprehende?

seriously i am kinda interested...

im sure i spend enough time up in this site to qualify for at least perminant part time/ 6 days a week..

so what do the modz actually do as such??

is it a requirement that i need 2 pay silver membership?

I am capable of being 100% impartial (unlike some mods here) ^^

I will bring justice back to the forums in a fair and unbiased manner

allowing for most people to speak their mind.

dont laugh but I reckon there should be an offical meet planner position

one person per state, they are the main contact, they are the font of meet infomation.

correct me if i'm wrong, but its not such a stupid idea.

u dont have to have a silver membership to qualify for mod........but it would show ur support a bit more if u already had one.

why would one think it pays...........as it is the mere 40 bucks thats goes towards the maintainence of the site is barely enough.......in relation to the actual number of regular members.

We have to have a mascot as well.

It MUST be a badger as well. No mascot unless it's a badger......or beaver.

2ZZ-GE Sportivo is stepping down and peakay is being booted cause he is never here.

Basically Moderators keep the forums nice and tidy and step in when things start to get out of hand.

Maybe also guys (current mods), to prevent the debacle that was the last moderaters votes, we should only have nominations considered by people that have been here a certain period of time and made a decent amount of posts, to prevent dodgy usernames etc....

Hows about min 6 months & 500 posts...

I'd then be looking at the posts to see what sort of thing that person has contributed. There is no point having someone as a moderator if all they post of the fun stuff, don't get me wrong, I like the fun stuff, but IMO, a moderator should be someone providing help/advice to members too....

Does that make sense....

its ok azza we are running the nominations/voting like we did last time. All nominations must be made via PM to a moderator, then all the voting will also take place via PM, if we get a PM from a suspect account, ill be checking IP's etc to see if its legit or not. :)
