Hey Guys,

Thought id pop in quickly and see whats going on. In fact I'm trying to get some info on Bills Car as I sent habib a SMS a while back and got no responce (lazy bugger)

Last I heard it was still on the road waiting for stage 2 of the modification to come about in a few thousand K's

Any way... Whats the go with the topics in this forum??

There are still questions on

CAI

Gear Changes

CES exhausts

And many other topics that have been covered 17 million times back when I used to live here !!!!

Anyway Things are good, llife is good, promotions are happeneing baby getting bigger, bought a new house, new car on the way, aswell as hopefully another baby :)

It goes on constantly to this day. We just ignore most of the crap now. I always thought Corey's style was a 'but teoooo over the tawp' *spoken Tony Greig style :lol:* but now, well, thank *** for him. There have been some real idiots on here of late. 'REAL' idiots. That's a lot coming from me as well 'cause I'm a frigging clown on here :blink:

OI!!!! My number is still the same!!!!! Slack dog. Anyway A BBQ sounds like a plan with all the old Brissy crew. We still see each other all the time with my place now know as "Sportivo Central" where all parts are installed/swapped/removed or modified. JC also resides downstairs now and has the modding bug well and truely courteous of your truely.

Good to hear from you again mate. Has your number changed?? If not I"ll give you a ring :D

Craig - Rally car is still going strong, playing around with the stroker kit and the piper cams at the moment, hoping to see a nice increase in power but i'll post up some info when we get some!! :lol:

      1zz-fe engine rebuild

      Hello all, Working on my 2002 corolla. It needs a engine rebuild due to burning oil out the back. It has over 400,000 km on it and I havent looked after it. Everything is still original on the motor. The only thing that I have replaced, was the brushes on the alternator. They were completely worn out. I am pulling the motor/gearbox out of the car. Wont know the condition of the block or head until I strip it down. I know the design of the piston where changed in the 2003+ models for more oil holes, which stopped the buring of oil. 1. Was there any other changes made ? 2. Does anyone know of where I can get a engine rebuild kit for 1zz-fe motor in australia ? 3. I have only found one place that I can get a new short motor built but that is in the USA and they do ship to australia but was hoping to find something in australia Thanks for help. Dragon

      2007 Corolla Sedan rear seatbelt question

      Hi everyone, new member here. I've got a small problem which I'm hoping you can help me sort out. I've read the "read me first" thread and done a forum search so apologies if this ends up being a repost. Ok, so I've just has a bloody mouse chew through the rear seat and half (but only half) of every rear seatbelt. Which is nice. So I need to replace them. The problem I appear to have is that none of the local breakers have any suitable vehicles that I can pull them from and the ones I ordered and was sent from the bay of fleas has the wrong brackets on, despite being allegedly for that vehicle. Further searches come up with every seller showing the wrong bracket, so either I've got a special car which is different just because, or (more likely) they don't know their ****s from their elbows what they're selling. I'm after some aftermarket ones as they never get used and just need to be there to get through rego so don't really want to spend a heap of cash I don't have on genuine parts if I can avoid it. I've replaced the centre one (a mate just randomly had it in a box in his shed, which was handy) but still need the left and right. I've attached the bracket type I pulled from the car and need. Is this a standard generic Toyota seatbelt or specific to the 2007 Corolla sedan? Does is need to be specifically for the rear left and right or do front ones fit? Does anyone know where I can source an aftermarket pair? I will really, really appreciate any help offered with this, I know my way around a box of tools but very little about mechanikicing (which is part of the reason why I bought this car - something simple to learn on as repairs/replacements become due) and this is a simple fix which is turning into a drawn out headache.       Hi all, Wondering if anyone has had this issue. I recently purchased a 2007 200 series landcruiser, and the amplifier for the air con unit stopped working. Part number 88650-60D60. (Looks like a circuit board) All controls for the air con now do not work, very frustrating in winter when you dont have any way to unfog your windscreen. Toyota have informed me that they no longer produce this part, and there is nothing superseeded to fit in it's place. My question is has anyone had this problem? If so what did you do to fix it? I have got onto an auto sparky who has had a go at fixing the circuit board but its unserviceable. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

      Engine oil dipstick reading

      Hi guys, Probably a silly question... I'm having trouble reading my engine oil dipstick on my Toyota Hilux 2010 3.0 Turbo Diesel. I have warmed up the engine, turned off for ~10 minutes, parked on a level surface. Pulled out the dipstick, wipe it and insert it back to the bottom and carefully lift it up. I tried so many times and the two sides always look different. I couldn't read it. Maybe I just don't understand how to read it. Could someone help? Thanks a lot!!!
