  1. Will depend on your dealer. If they are picky, they can void your warranty even with no mods (eg. bad driving..) But some will say TRD is ok. Best bet is keep i stock, if you are planning to mod make sure you have a bit of extra cash just to play safe..
  2. Anybody knows if there will be TV broadcast of the Malaysian Grand Prix this weekend?
  3. Or use the Nismo 270R from passing the IA licence. I have been playing Japan Championship with over 70,000 credits each time i win it and you also get a LM edition concept 350Z worth over 300,000credits as a prize car. You can also keep playing that and win the same car over and over so you can sell them for cash. I have since purchased an NSX-R (MR), M3 CSL (FR), STI Spec C (AWD) and a (EP)Civic Type R. The EP series Civic R is a surprisingly taily hatchback.. back off the trottle and the tail sweeps around very easily. Its also as quick if not quicker than the Integra Type R. Anyone buying the TRD tuned Celica? I am also gonna get the R1 Titan Amuse S2000 when i get 150,000 credits!
  4. Very True :( The Hondas all rev to 9000rpm except the Integra Type R, only to 8800rpm and sounds great. I think its also bcos we have gotten used to the CAI on the 2ZZGE :D
  5. I will be interested in any track day!! Bring it on!! But got to know which day and i have to make sure i'm not working.. This time i will go with a full tank of gas.. the last time i went with 3/4 and missed out on the final 3 sessions :( Could have ran a few Clio Sports and Mini Cooper but the car was surging.. I was also getting quicker as i progressed into the later sessions.. could have cracked 1min18s. Flywheel and new clutch and maybe new tyres to come!
  6. licenses come from GT4-prologue, 100,000 credits comes from GT3... But still, you got to 'HOME' and read what it says at the bottom of the screen, I think it was 'press START to load history' from memory... you can have the Prologue and GT3 samed games in either Memory slot as it will read through both of them in sequence, if you have it in #2 you will get a message saying No Data found in Memory Slot #1 don't panic, just say OK, and it will eventually find the stuff it needs in Slot #2 Cheers Dylan PS... once I get a Flash drive I'll post some pics of my RunX, I took it in the Japanese Championship against a Skyline, RX7, RX8, WRX and NSX and was not too shabby, was stronger under braking then all the other cars (with standard brakes mind you too) but lost out down the straight (at 90's Fugi) I came out of the last corner in 3rd on the tail of the WRX and finished 5th trying hard to block the RX7 and RX8 from flying past (failing :( ) the NSX won and the poor Skyline R34 was last :D But as there was no chance I could win with the lack of top end speed I stopped the campionship after that race, will upgrade the gearbox and try again... ← When you win the Japan Championship you get a Nissan 350Z limited edition concept car with over 600hp and worth 381,000 credits!! Haven't driven it yet but i guess it will be a little quicker than the RunX :P
  7. Love the NSX-R, drove it in arcade mode and could do 1min3s and better around Tsukuba, stock standard! But atm practicing my drifting skills with the Nismo 270R, has 380hp, stage 1 turbo and everything else done to it. Also added a 3D GT-wing and gold wheels. It's already overpowered and very hard to use anything below 3rd gear so stage 2 turbo is a no-no for me. Do you all turn off all driver assist devices? I do bcos its more fun this way! :D Zee
  8. Had a great time and thanks to Dylan for organising all that! We went to places i have never been like the 7mile beach, its a beauty and love all the Togue driving! Great pics too, next up Wakefield Park! :D Also nice to meet some of the guys for the first time, like Bill and "Influx" :) Too bad you guys couldn't join us for the rest of the cruise, but maybe at Wakefiled Park next time! Influx's and Dave's Stivos might look mean on the street but can they keep up with me on the track? :P
  9. Thanks Cooley and Dylan sorry to hear the bad news, but its becoming all too familiar. I'm willing to go to Sydney City Toyota to get them to look at it. But i'm still waiting for the service manager at Tory to ring me back. Aparently he will be liasing with the regional technical team to help resolve my problems. That is what Jenny requested i do, to liase with them but its been a week and no reply yet. But what you said is right, at least we lodged our concerns with them so they can't blame us in the end for a problem we didn't raise.
  10. OMG... I thought everything was good with the gearbox once the clutch was fixed??? ← What happened??? Getting fixed under warranty i hope!? Zee
  11. I spent most of my time enjoying scenery at the Nurburgring and taking happy snaps. I didn't spend a great deal of time racing as I had things I had to do. I was on it for about 2-3 hours just learning my way around all the menus... I've decided to try and to 2 games 1 where I get the assistance from the other games (GT4 prologue and GT3) and one where I start from scratch... and see which way works better. I must say I am a bit dissapointed by the tuning zone, I thought there would be more choice and variations in performance between the companies but as far as I can tell it's just a plug for the various tuning houses. 1 thing I do like about it though is the way the icons for the different houses turn YELLOW for the ones you can use for the particular car you have... Oh and did anyone else notice that when you go into the menu for the 'original circuits' it plays the menu music from the original Gran Tourismo... Call me crazy but it's the little things like that, that I just can't get over about this game, they really have gone all out to cram as much onto 1 DVD as is possible... and the fact that you can set units to kW and Nm I just love, did you notice the RunX has only 139 kW where as the Lotus Elise 111R has 141kW (didn't compare the celica though) ← Something bad i found was that when you enter the garage, the power output is in hp even though you have selected kw and even when it says kw.. (eg. stock RunX has 199kw and Nismo 270R Silvia has 270+kw , but if you select cars and view them individualy the power output is different, for the 270R it's 190kw=270bhp) its only when you view the actual cars individually that the power output's right. But this game ROCKS!! I love it!! Still have yet to take pictures of my RunX.. too bad we can't dress up the car a little more..
  12. Bl33dy h3ll, paid $85 for it :( But worth every cent imo.. and the RunX drives exactly like the Stivo on a racetrack when you power out of corners above 6000rpm the wheels cannot stop spinning.. also noticed how much quicker and smoother the TypeRs are.. So who has clocked the quickest time at Tsukuba Circuit? I managed a 1min15s on my first attempt, pretty shabby.. Best so far is an NSX-R with 1min3s.
  13. I think it will only make difference when you drive it hard on the track.. normal stop start and an occassional enthusiastic burst shouldn't hurt.
  14. Did anyone else watch the F1 race that day? I watched the practice sessions, qualifying 1 and 2 and the race and i was very disappointed with BAR Honda's performance. They were rather unlucky to be caught out in the rain during qualifying but still i felt they lacked track speed that day. The Renaults were flying and they were bloody quick, imo quicker than the Ferraris. They were clocking 1min26s and high 1min25s.. The Ferraris were no match and the Hondas and Toyotas were hovering around the 1min28s/29s. Seems to me the Renaults will be dominating with Mclaren but we still have to see how quick Ferrari's 05 car is. Williams and RedBull seemed pretty good too so this season looks to be rather competitive with all teams being rather quick. Overall i am disappointed with BAR Honda's first race result this year considering they were 2nd last year and always up front, but its only the first race and there are 18 more grand prixs to go. Jenson Button felt the 007 BAR Honda cars have speed to match, just that their strategy screwed them inside out that day.. anyway his girl is HOT!!! :D Zee
  15. Just make sure you guys get a "TRD" sticker from Bruce and put it on your CAIs yous cheapskates! :P
  16. I like the look of the Stivos in Europe better.. has better interior/exterior but anyway i think most guys here with the 05 Stivos will do something to make it look sweet!
  17. Spot on i think but the bloody dealers won't do it, because its not mentioned in the technical bulletin. P.S. I am not encouraging people to adjust the clutch themsleves in anyway. I am not responsible for any problems (such as broken finger, or clutch pedal falling off..) :P
  18. I brought mine to 3 different Toyota dealerships and they couldn't do anything to it.. said the clutch was hydraulic so there is not much adjustment except the pedal travel.. and they said the technical bulletin mentioned pedal travel was out in some cars so they measured and fiddled around with it.. I experimented myself when i was at Wakefield park, adjusting the pedal height. When there is less pedal travel the gearshifter feels better (but still sticks) and there seems to be a little more clutch slip when you shift fast, and when there is more clutch pedal travel the bloody shifter sticks like hell. I also searched the web and found some info by ABS on hydraulic clutches. It said when pedal travel is too much you get clutch drag which can cause the gearshifter to feel like ours so one way to rectify or improve on it is too reduce the clutch pedal travel. Just my little opinion.. and Dylan keep me updated! Zee
  19. Man, the graphics look damn fine!! Or does it only look like that in photo mode?
  20. 223 nm of torque Specs here http://www.honda.com.au/Accord/Euro/eurolu.../powertrain.htm ← And at 4500rpm too! Plenty of mid-range grunt with peak power near 7000rpm. What about gear ratios in the 6 speed Peekay? What does 1st, 2nd, 3rd gears bring you up to (km/h)? My family's automatic Euro goes up to 120-130km/h in 2nd.
  21. haha silly man, did he mean Gran Turismo 4? Why don't they bring in the 2-door Stivo?
  22. Nice! I think Hondas have a tighter drivetrain so less hp lost at the wheels. You got yourself a 6 speed manual right? Man.. i just wish for a Honda gearbox in my Stivo :( .
  23. Where do you live mate? Wana run-in ur car HARD and baseline against an old Stivo? :P I like the new 2 door Stivo's look, can u tell me if our 4 door has a rear spoiler? The pis i have of the new 4 door hasn't. Zee
