ok, so ive just changed the LED's in my centre console (the t5 bulbs near the gearstick, WOW much nicer look! :P) but now im wondering, has anyone here changed the bulb that lights up the "auto" on the front driverside window control? is it a matter of sticking a flathead screwdriver in the edge of the housing and prying it open? not too keen on removing the entire door trim...

daryl, just on the gold class dash and trim foam, do you find it gives a high shine? or can it be applied to give a matt appearance? im using meguiars ultimate quick interior detailer but being summer time, want something with uv protection but without a high shine... being a meguiars brand whore i was wanting to try the gold class foam...

Maybe just to clarify, ill continue on from what Ingres started, seeing as there seems to be a bit of variation with the grills... Hey all, So im looking at upgrading my headunit (currently have a clarion max386vd double din in dash dvd player). now ive found that im not using the dvd function all that much and neither is my partner while im driving. So, seeing that I'm looking at more of a SQ set up, a couple of headunits have caught my attention. namely the Pioneer DEH-P80RS reference series headunit. or the Alpine CDA-9887. (if anyone here has had any experience with either of these units, post your thoughts here too! ) both these headunits are single din... i was wondering what people here thouight about running a single din in the aurions? does it look cheap and nasty having a pocket in there? i have considered the eclipse avn and the alpine w502 and they are still on my list but just wanted to hear what people here think. If you have a picture of your single din set up, please post them up here :) many thanks! Dave

are you refering to the DEH-P80RS headunit? or the DEX-P90RS... im hoping to change my clarion max386VD with the pioneer DEH-P80RS.... so hope it is available... <_<

hey guys so i just got my eyelids for my aurion, and i am wanting to colour code them... my car is a diamond white aurion, has anyone got any tips for DIY spray jobs? to my limited knowledge, i would need a primer? colour, and then clearcoat... it is plastic material if that makes any difference... will i need to sand before/inbetween coats (was going to apply 2 coats before i clear coat) thanks in advance!

Thanks for the info mate! just a quick one, do you have any knowledge about the apparent fuel contamination that occured with some BP stations a while ago? my partner manages the fleet vehicles for the Dept of Water and they had reports of contaminated fuel damaging some of their fleet cars in rural WA... then there was a report on the news a while back regarding contaminated fuel... but good info either way, seeing as ive been ignoring the shell discount vouchers i have sitting at home :P
