    They were a serious pain in the ***** to open. The glue they used to seal it was so heat resistant, to separate the lens from the light housing I ended up warping most of the housing to get it off. I can add heat again to remould it and use Sika to seal it; but God it was not fun.

    That sounds good. One thing... would you say... retrofit a set of projectors into it? I have a set of Gen5 ones from the US one here that I have already opened but I know that I will have to modify the mounts heavily for them to match the AU ones.

    I don't like the look, but if I had to choose; the middle one (where it looks like they mount on the roof) looks the best of the 3.

    Isn't the CSi the 5SFE? Or are you looking at the CSi V6? The 5s from memory is prone to sludging.

    http://www.tmr.qld.gov.au/Licensing/Visitors-and-new-residents/Interstate-drivers.aspx I believe you are still up for the monetary penalty but I am unsure of the financial penalty. It will depend on the state as the legislation is different. IIRC, a certain person from QLD was banned from driving in one of the southern states (Vic or NSW) as a result of an accumulation of demerits. Still had to pay the fines though.
