  1. Yep. But if you want proper 'bucket' seats that is the only real option. Factory Toyota seats aren't very buckety.
  2. Gen6 and 7 won't fit without modification to the mounts which will need engineering, may be an issue if you don't and get into an accident. Gen5 are a direct bolt on but you won't be able to make use of the airbag or the power seat. None of them are bucket seats; even the TRD Aurion seats aren't quite buckety enough. If you want bucket seats get some Bride/Sparco/Similar.
  3. Man that is low. Especially with that extra lip you have there, I bet you're scraping all the time. I'm on superlows, looks like a 4WD and I still bloody scrape on everything.
  4. thanks andrew , i;ll look into them . they all Australian right ? No. I am not sure about Pedders but the rest are CCS.
  5. You will be. But it is more a case of 'because you have convinced me to do power first, coils will have to wait' kind of situation.
  6. Under the influence of gastro. Unsure of my attendance percentage for tonight.
  7. Pedders, D2, K-Sport, BC, Yellow also make coils for the Gen4.
  8. I think this is common across the 1mz-fe range. I have the same issue (assuming you're talking about under the oil filler cap) and when The Viking changed over my valve-cover seals (and had my covers cleaned in a centrifuge) he did not bring it up.
  9. I can't speak about the cheaper materials bit but that's simply not true. Major manufacturers move their productions to China/India etc due to reduced labour costs but they still specify what quality control measures are in place as well as their manufacturing tolerances. I know not a car but still applicable, all Giant Bicycles are manufactured in Taiwan. Despite this, they have sponsored (ie - their bikes are ridden by) 3 international teams and a number of national teams. It's not about where it is made, it is about how it is made, what it is made from and what their tolerances are.
  10. From what I recall from what STYLSH was saying, the 1mz-fe ones not fitting is from the USDM ones.
  11. For reference, the headers for the 1mz-fe don't fit without modification so that's a vote of confidence right there.
  12. Any mechanic (including Toyota) will fit the equipment you provide; though Toyota won't if you need to modify anything. DBA/RDA/PBR make suitable rotors that will be far cheaper than Toyota Genuine. You can buy DBA and RDA from GSL Rallysport (http://www.gslrallysport.com/). As for pads, I would recommend QFM HPX pads. Low dust and better braking than stock and reasonably priced (something like $89 per axle); also available from GSL Rallysport. Unless you are thrashing it, don't bother with slotted/drilled rotors or track orientated pads.
  13. Replace both o2 sensors at the same time then reset the ecu. Let the ECU relearn the driving patterns.
  14. D2/BC are bottom end. Might even be that CCS that comes out of the same factory, with minor differences in tolerances and painting/anodising at the end. Koni, Bilstein, Tein, Cusco.
  15. I can't help RE: installing but I have to say, EXCELLENT choice on coilovers. K-Sport make some of the best stuff around. Period.
