  1. Well, technically you aren't allowed to use wheel spacers. They are the easiest way by far but it won't be street legal.
  2. Better is such a broad term. List the 5 things to you that are important that your car must have.
  3. You say very light scratching so chances are you don't need anything more than a light polish and a good wax afterwards, both of which can be done by hand if you don't have a machine. I find AutoGlym Super Resin Polish an excellent all in one. It's more of a Polish/Wax/Cleaner (in that order) and will really bring out the finish of your paint (especially if it is that blue in your avatar). If the scratches are abit deeper but doesn't warrant any real cutting; Meguiars ColorX is not a bad choice. It's doesn't polish as well as the AutoGlym but does a better of job of removing defects. Both will give you a layer of wax on the top but it never hurts to add a layer of wax on top of it. If you're shopping from your local Autocra-p/Supertheif/Ripco there are a few products you can buy. Avoid anything that says Polish or Cleaner on it as you'll strip some of the protective layer of wax from the polish. A good how to wax guide can be found here
  4. Not sure. It's been a long day and only got home an hour ago. Have to head back in to close in an hour. Fark I hate Thursday days.
  5. Not really worth it if you don't get a header-back system (or fix up the y-pipe, the biggest restriction). You won't get much power and a fair bit of drone and rubbish noise.
  6. Ahhh. Chocolate Wheatens are the best biscuit in all the land.

Kingstons all around the country are offended by that remark

      Milk. There is no debate.

  7. I've always wondered. Seen heaps of movies of it flying about but not a movie of it taking a corner
  8. A camry is NOT a performance car I know right... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KpVIRHKy4is It's not. Like everything there is always an exception but the Camry isn't a performance car. There is no doubt Tony's car is fast but how does it handle?
  9. There were no Australian Camrys with the 2gr-fze. The TRD Aurion was the only one and they were made in very limited numbers.
  10. That doesn't look good. Hopefully it isn't too expensive.
  11. 'The' TRD engine. I think you're mistaken.
  12. Gen5 seats are a direct bolt on for the Gen4.
  13. If you don't stop this behaviour you will get a short, sharp visit from the Smack Fairy

  14. I don't get why anyone would purchase the Aurion if they're gonna drive it like a Camry!I feel after 100km/h the IS250 catches up with Aurion You don't have to hoon around like a knob everytime you drive to justify the purchase of a 200kw vehicle. Those idiot Ferrari, Aston Martin and Porsche drivers are d*ckheads because they only do the speed limit and drive it like a grandpa car. What weak, pathetic human beings. Waste of life.
  15. Probably just stopped caring. Happens alot. The old men move out, the new boys move in. The circle of life.
  16. John. You bought my old struts and King Low springs because you had trouble with the springs you had. You bought them from your friend in Sydney and you told me that you scrubbed, the spring fell off the spring seats and the car wasn't as stable. That's what YOU told ME, to my face, when I came to sell you my old gear. That is why you wanted to buy MY springs because YOUR springs were giving you trouble. You plainly offer him a set of springs which you know are not fit to be used on a car and all you say is 'maybe to low for you !' I'm letting OP know he should be careful.
  17. You mean the ones you were telling me about that you got from your friend in Sydney? The ones you had problems with once you installed them onto your car?
  18. Hrmm... That's quite interesting. I've hated how unwieldy the Gen5 lights are. Looks good!
  19. Have your strut tops come loose? As for dealerships, my dad's Yaris has been serviced at Southside Woolloongabba with no problems.
  20. Whoops, didn't realise the Gen4 came with the 5s.
  21. There was a TRD supercharger kit for the Scion TC (2az-fe) but I did a bit of reading and there were a few reports of oil leaks, not forgetting to mention the kits are not easy to find. There are also a multitude of turbo kits for the 2az-fe but none of them will be a direct bolt on. Nothing ever is.
  22. A wise old Viking like man told me to use a good quality semi- or full synthetic oil. I have been using Mobil1 5-50w and Penrite SIN 0-50w with no issues whatsoever.
  23. Not sure this week. Absolutely bogged down today. Have a rather large list of errands and tasks to complete first.
