Just buy them and mod them accordingly to fit. Sounds like you're pretty sold on the idea and it may only require a little work to get them to fit.

At first I was thinking the engine cover, but I think OP might be referring to all the plastic bits around the side.

Judging by the price you've been quoted, sounds like you're referring to the lens of the headlight which you can't find replacements for. If it is just moisture inside, drill a hole or two in the top and the bottom (of the back of the housing) which should help eliminate moisture build up. If the front cover is yellowed/foggy looking. Hit it with some 2000grit wet and dry, then polish over with a rotary/orange pad/plastic polish a few times. Then use a sealant/wax over the top.

I think it's hard to de-activate traction control when a car doesn't come with it. The 36 series (pre- and post-facelift versions) did not come with traction control/VSC.

Yeah...this is the kit that we installed, and I certainly couldn't replicate their supposed power gain on my car. When you say you're certain, what makes you certain? I actually asked them for some dyno results to verify their 5-7 kw but they never got back to me. I sold the thing on ebay for nearly what I paid, even after I put the description in that it doesn't appear to do anything There is a gentleman who used to have a silver 2zz which the CES CAI and CES Catback was designed on. He's since sold it but he's Brisbane based so we see him often; but I don't want to disclose too many details as I am not completely sure. I'll get in touch and see if he can explain more.

Ummm... I don't know much about cars, let alone the Sportivo but I was certain they actually get a HP gain from going to a CAI setup. I know a CES CAI boast a HP gain (http://www.cesracing.com.au/products_7.htm) and a few members have used this setup.

But you aren't posting up the actual lab results, so both of you don't have a foot to stand on as you both are posting things like 'I've seen this' and 'real world facts' but there isn't any tangible results for us to see. I'm as narrowminded as the next person but your argument regarding the K&N filters is nonetheless interesting and I would be interested in seeing the results.

Pretty much. Toyota does not put hundreds if thousands (if not millions) of dollars into research and development into their products to release a vehicle which struggles for air as standard; in particular an issue like that which would be immediately noticed.

White still looks pretty good when dolled up. I cut and polished an Aurion ZR6 and she looked great by the end of it.
