  1. Most dealers doing pre orders are in the area of 37k plus onroads.
  2. I think it's going on his Aurion which is a Sportivo i think lol???
  3. Geejuz and i thought $1195.00 in Tas was a rip for the "prestige" plates lol
  4. To a certain dealership in Devonport? HAHA maybe :P nah we went to buy it but was already taken so were getting the GT-86 for our demo's and Adam's private car when he gets one. if i end up getting one i'll get EIGHT6 or 86-APEX. half tempted to get one and just stick it on the ZR6 for now lol

    2012 Camry

Let’s be honest who actually used the rear map lights AND they were only available when the sunroof was selected so it’s more than likely the same in the 50 series. Even if it's not only 1 in 100 customers would miss it. Front still has all the lights it always has.
  6. Hey there, very late reply i know , but thanks. and man i love your car! very sexy! no drama's but anywhere around 36-38psi is the magic number & haha thanks mate :)

    2012 Camry

Good eyes, Camry steeriing wheels design is slighly similer to that of the new Yaris hatch. Ofocurse it's a lot larger with way more buttons and feels very nice in your hands too much better than the wheel in either Camry , Aurion or TRD.
  8. Yeah the "86" plates have gone in Tassie too, but "GT-86" "86-APEX" and "EIGHT6" are still there for now.

    2012 Camry

Hey Guys, All the Camry's still have vanity and map lights as well as sunglasses holder (although i'm sure it's not as deep as the 40 series) But yes it's true the Auto fuction is now the first light setting as opposed to the last like were used too.
  10. Would the TRD package fit on a 20 series? Also there is the different Handbrake set up between the 20 and 40 series which might cause a drama for you? Let us worry about that :P lol we'll watch that one then.

  12. It's not bad actually. My first damper setting was 22 clicks to the hardest. Not that comfy ride (i'm using 30 series tyres) but the handling was great and there's minimal scrubbing. Then I tried 18 clicks setting and I think this one's pretty close to the stock ride but tyre scrubs more often. Now it's at 21 clicks which I find most suitable. What's your reversed setup now? hey Mate. yeah it's great again now. nice and flat can use the cars power well out of a corner just need to get the camber fixed as some d!ckhead set it up as a RWD and not a FWD so the rear tyres arent doing there part just yet but get that fixed and she'll be a damn good thing again!
  13. The reason why they wouldn't be using the word 'coilovers' is because the terminology comes from a coil spring being over a strut. Comes from the days when leaf springs were being replaced by 'coil springs over dampeners'. Everyone just calls adjustable suspension coilvers for ease though. Much like sport bucket seats in all cars these days. It stems from the old days when the front seats were a single bench like the backseats are. So a single seat is called a bucket seat, even though they are far from a race seat. See look at that you do learn something every day haha. This car is going to be a weapon, might have to buy those plates after all :P
  14. lol Part that biatch out :P shame it's not the SL but yeah there will surely be plenty of guys and girls on here to off load most of the car for you haha
  15. Wow that must of been a tree or pole. The poor front reo has torn and bend the front chassis rails right across looks like everything from A Pillar back would be salvageable though. Is it an S or SL?

    2012 Camry

Yeah there is a few dealer demo's starting to kick about now. We was lucky enough to get 2 altise's 2 Atara S and a SL. SL is bloody beautiful car to drive. Quality is spot on and isnt too far behind driving a current Lexus really. Do find it weird that at least the SL doesnt have the lip spoiler as standard though. Also the 18's off the American car would of being a nice touch to the SX to make it look a little more menacing. But really a nice car over all. Love the interior.
  17. Bloody oath, how hard would a 1200kg coupe stop with 6 & 4 Piston Brembo Brakes!! Some of there terms make me laugh a little. Full Length adjustable suspension set - Coilovers must be a voodoo word? direct brake lines? - soo there braided then lol
  18. merry Christmas everybody :) :)have an awesome day and drink and eat up but drive safe!
  19. Merry Christmas Everybody, have an awesome day and drive safe!

  20. lol like Ebay, FAQ is your friend :)
  21. Joys of knowing the manager lol, wasnt an issue as they are a Toyota Genuine Part "upgrade"
  22. Induction definately, exhaust, I gotta say, I think yours has the edge right now. Although when it comes to driving comfort, I beat both of you - mine doesn't make a sound! (...for now <_<) BTW Scott, if you happen to come across a wrecker locally with a broken Aurion, let me know coz theres a few bits I might wanna grab while you're at it. induction sounds feral on Scott's car. hoping this doesnt change the note of my car for the worse but i doubt it will. need to get on to ordering that thing. I got to work today and had to ask what date it was to chnage my calender over. sure it's the 19th lol
  23. Yeah thought so, something for future modders to consider when looking at doing this mod. Although i should probably have one for the TRD brake package on my car even though it’s a bolt straight on affair.

    2012 Camry

New car is a great jigger. Looks wise it’s a lot sharper but still distinctly Camry though. Ride is better i think and handling is a lot more solid with more feel and better control. Car has improved all round with great standard features but for e the biggest area of improvements is the interior which is miles better than 40 series looks and feels great. Plastics are better but they are harder than they appear but all round much nicer. Seats are better too much more supportive with extra bolster especially in the SX as is the way the steering wheel feels in your hands. Car just gets better the further you go up the tree. new engine feels sweeter and punchier new 6 speed box is great paddles are worthwhile thing i wouldn’t say there as fast to respond to input like a VW paddle shift system but then of course it doesn’t have a DSG box but is still good and the box blips the throttle on the downshifts - leaves you thinking sh!t is this a Camry! All bodes well for Aurion really!
