  1. Yes you have to be careful with these kinds of things. i think there is one available from Thailand and also a fin like what BMW use for aero aid (which also doubles as the aerial) If there not designed properly they have the potential to do more "harm" then good. Aurion already have aero fins and "diffusers" with the Sportivo and TRD models having a few more all designed to smooth out the air travelling around and under the car and also designed to make the car more stable and "pull" it to the ground at high speed. The new 50 Series Camry and Aurion will feature a lot more vortex generators and aero fins/flaps.
  2. 1. best of luck to you sueing a large organistion like the motorgroup that owns Sydney City Toyota.... 2. Some times crap just happens like the ceiling fallen in under massive rains. Modern delearships have maddive roof ruface aras with all sorts of angles that hold tonnes of water. During heavy rains the massive gutters and down pipes cant hold the amount of water that comes off our roof on our dealership. Ours is only just over half the size of Sydneys showroom... 3. If you only just noticed that it has a creak one year after pickign the car up and only just nwo hearing the ceackign noise isnt it fair to say that you have accidently broke it just recently... no dealer is going to replace that a year on. espcially if your blaming them. Can you appreciate how often people palm off broken thing on there cars as the dealers fault when half the time is peopel just tryign to take advantage. the best your dealer could do is try and make a claim but i doubt the would get the appoval as it would be seen as a human error not something that has actually gone wrogn with the car. you would need to prove it was broken from day one. and im sure the dealer is making out that you go around braking stuff on your car as you ahve noithing better to do...

    2012 Camry

I received some specs on the new ASV50 range today. There is Altise, Atara L1, Atara S (replacing sportivo) and Atara L3. Weight is down too.
  4. To be honest you wouldn’t call the performance of the Bluetooth on any of the old models anything but below average... Toyota got completely sick of hearing this and told fujitsu ten to give them the best there is as they knew it had to get it right this time round and they have it works flawless first time very time and are super clear. We was playing around with the system in the new SR5 today and we talking ton Bluetooth from out t side the car and it was still crystal clear and to attach to the Bluetooth is Childs play. Also there is no compatibility issue with the new system not even with nokias and iphones which seemed to give the most dramas. The L3 system is around 1280 buck to buy outright or a puny 300 buck to upgrade in mid range models like corolla conquest for example (that is when it is released in the rolla) really is a top system.
  5. Hey Mste, im running FK452 on my car too and i tend to have them around the 36psi mark. But have also run them as high as 40psi a few times and that has been more then fine.
  6. lol well i am in sales and marketing haha... & yes whilst its true compared to the current crop of HSV's. FPV's AMG's Liberty GT etc the brake package does look under done on the TRD's but it also good to remember there stopping a car that weighs 9 city blocks less. On the road if you can kill them then your simply driving to hard for a public road but your correct they do only last a few laps on the track. i think we got 3 laps out of them at symmons at 10/10ths before they were shot. But again what you have come up with is certainly up there for bang for your bucks!
  7. There is still a fair bit of clearance for the rotors so I doubt cooling would be an issue, they'll still far out perform the factory brakes. And true, this upgrade isn't as good as the TRD which was designed for performance but like you said it will come very close and at about half the outlay (unless you want to buy everything new from Toyota, in which case the TRD is the better option) Yeah right well if there is still enough room to make it all work fine then you have done a top job. true the TRD package is designed from the word go to stop cars hard and fast all day every day and things like its 32mm diameter rotors and aluminium callipers attest to this but the Kluger set up is a fantastic middle ground between the standard package that stop the car well for day to day use and still stands up well for a couple of decent stops and the TRD package that stop Aurion very hard for days. For the dough it will cost it’s hard to go wrong! Improved performance and looks for a very reasonable outlay!
  8. Ha! Stop desecrating my sales, you! AWW but , but!! haha it's funny as on Toyotas lol
  9. Not only does it look better, but it's miles better! operation is in another league. simply as to use and reliable as the rest of the car now! which you could not say about th Bluetooth or sat nav operation in previous models
  10. Whilst it's true the TRD package would just and we mean just fit on the standard 17's. Would you have to consider cooling of the brakes? on the TRD's you have plenty of space around the rotors for cold air to find its way through and in the veins on the 17's it’s a tight fit and cool air isn’t as free to move around the rotor surely this would have to affect the performance of the brakes? Still though the Kluger package is a good option and should work 90% as well as the TRD package with its thicker rotors and aluminium callipers. :)

    2012 Camry

i mean let’s be honest here. What we’re looking at is the poverty pack base model. And they never look any good always quite bland and no thrills although the interior for an entry level car still looks pretty good with the exception of the stolen Play station buttons and yerp fair to say the dash is fake. Maybe the Presara/ grande might get a more convincing dash though but over all for a base model its not bad. Certainly better then the first pics we all seen lol.
  12. There is a new and very impressive level 3 sat nav system in Hilux. This system including level 1 (base model vehicle) Level 2 (mid spec) will be rolled out over the end of this year start of next. Starting with Hilux and yaris. there specs are pretty sweet and have some very awesome features like voice activation and parrot Bluetooth which is easier to use and has superior performance to the current units. Also to update your sat nav version is easier now it’s on SD card and also cheaper. Around 100bucks now. so if you wanted you could buy one of these new units and put it in your car. its a million times better unit then the follow me units for a very similar price maybe even slightly cheaper
  13. Oh wow good effort, that's a pretty good cheap brake upgrade for Aurion
  14. Oh, how sw33t Oh cmon cant you feel the love haha?
  15. Through Money Wrench racing you can buy the GReddy Emange Ultimate and harness to the 2GR-FE, just nobody has fitted one to the Aurion as of yet that we know of. But hay feel free to pioneer it for us lol
  16. Yeah i would be suprised if you had any issues with the vehicle.
  17. Dislike not being a Mod on this Forum :( , can’t put lines through your text and make it funny lol :P
  18. lol when i first read the headline of this thread running through my mind was cars with 200 plus kms. 70,000-100,000kms is only just past the worn in stage for a Toyota.
  19. That’s rather interesting that they said you’re using the wrong kind of pads for the rotor. Your using Bendix CT Stealth, hard to get a more everyday normal pad then those.. What do they want you to use?
  20. Oh you big bunch of princess's lol. Were paying $1.64-$1.67 litre for BP 98 ultimate!! & yes bring on FT-86 half considering put in a order at work! Thought of getting the personal plates before somebody else does or my work since they like to get all the kind of plates.
  21. Adjustable koni's (I’m assuming you’re meaning the FSD series) would be ideal if your happy with the height of your Sportivo or TRD But coil over is the only way to go if you want height and rebound adjustability.
  22. Not sure about a 36 series as i have only driven stock ones with bigger wheels but the UR products should make the same sort of difference as they do on the Aurion and 40 series Camry.
  23. The things they will do to end the pursuit of perfection lol, pretty cool ads though. some clever marketing guys out there.
  24. HAHA well atleast you can admit your whipped bad lol
