Just went back few pages to see when I last posted that I cleaned my car. It was on the 31st July. It's now the 29th. A whole month without washing her or giving it a vacuum. Wow :|. Work is really keeping me occupied and on my days off I just cbf'd anymore lol. Outlook for weather looks sunny though from Tuesday so I'll probably do it then :)

Oh wow, that would definitely be the new Aurion. But of course for Australia I'm 100% certain they will lose the chrome features. Is it RWD? IMO Toyota has really raised the bar with the stitching on the dash. Usually you don't see that kind of dash unless it's a very very high end European car.

For the sportivo models I wish they would flair out the wheel arches like the Holden VE's. I have a bit of a soft spot for those. Makes the car look very mean :)

my brake fluid was last changed at my 60K service with Toyota. I'm now on 76K and I had a look at the brake fluid reservoir and it's sitting between low and max. I read on the manual that this is normal but is it normal for it to happen so soon? Should I go buy some brake fluid from Toyota parts and top it up? On hot or cold it still sits in the middle.

If you are talking about the last photo. That is certainly not normal. But if you mean every car you've looked at that has that new stereo system then okay. But if you are talking about all aurions, stock or not, that's not normal.

meh. If you don't want em I'd take them off you :D.

+2. My Aurion veers to the left but like you said, not severe enough to get around to it . I'll eventually do it because it IS annoying.

Well since this is 50/50 premix it should should apparently last 150K as well but as the bottle states 80K. Also taken from page 262 in our owners manual: So obviously it's not straight tap water toyota are using to fill the 50% of the coolant up. Either way. No harm done and if anything it's just some more preventive maintenance that I have no regret doing. It's the OCD in me that makes me do it

So why is it first at 150k then 75k there after? What changes? The coolant is still the same. Either way I'd rather change it then top it up. It has almost reached the low level line on the coolant bottle. Not to mention summer is coming up.

Got a couple of these today: On the back of the bottles it says that coolant should be changed every 80,000kms. Everyone was saying to do it 100,000kms+ but Toyota says otherwise apparently. Just for anyone's curiosity. I got it for $29ex gst.

If you still have warranty. All of that would most definitely be covered. But be quick with the rattles. Usually after so many years/kms they say it's now normal for a car of that age and km's and might not cover the rattle.

Today I spent 6 hours detailing the car. It had been over a month since I last washed and the car looked like it was in need of huge TLC. Woke up nice and early and started the cleaning. First started with a quick wash, then clay bared the whole car, washed it again this time thoroughly, gave the new Michelin tyres a very good sudsy wash, hosed down the engine bay, dried the whole car thoroughly, then applied meguiras tyre shine gel around the black plastic parts in the engine bay, then waxed the whole car using nxt gen wax with my wax attack buffer, tyre shined the new shoes, used meguiras dash spray inside the car and gave the interior a very thorough vacuum. Wiped all windows inside and out, sprayed glen 20 spray disinfectant on all the floor mats, closed the doors, locked her up in the garage and sat back and just starred at her looking her very best :D :D :D
