    Hey that kebab joint isn't far from my place at all. I might be able to come to this. Is okay if I rock up late or something? Also, why not try Kebab Box across from Kmart while you're on Hume Freeway/Sydney Road? IMO it's better than the one shown on the map as I've had both (a lot, lol). Oh and also the parking at Kebab Box is massive(like a Bunnings carpark type) just saying? :)

    Buy the spark plugs from eBay as you will save at least $150 thanks to the crap US dollar and go find another mechanic. If you're from melb shoot me a pm. I'll give you details to one.

    No; because the Aurion uses a 'coil on plug' design which eliminates the distributor and spark plug leads. Oh yeah, I figured it would be something like this because I was looking at the engine and thinking hmmm. There are no leads. Thanks mate :)

    Stab in the dark, but spark plugs? Usually when a car rough on drive for me means the sparks need changing. I remember on my 97 camry it was noisy and shaking, after new spark plugs it was dead quiet... Well almost

    Just a quick update on my tooth. Since I got 7 replies on my status so people seem interested:P. I went today and I'll be having all three wisdom teeth removed. My lower right was removed three years ago.Going into surgery in two weeks:(. though going first class all the way with private cover :P

      Doing it via private health insurance is the best, I went under to have my wisdom teeth out when I was 17 (they were coming in basically horizontal) and had a great recovery.

    My lower left side wisdom tooth has erupted through my gums and it's frigging KILLING me :(.. Hurts so much. Going to the specialist at 10am today to get it looked at :(

      you have a partially erupted 38 there, odds are if its just broke through the gingiva(gums), you'll be given painkillers, antibiotic scripts and sent home, unless of course you have mandibular crowding and the molar is impacted, but i doubt that.

    I just did a quick google and every site tells me that it has 430KW at the front wheels. I bought this mechanism from ebay that says if I plug it into my motor I'll get double the power. So I'm actually pulling 860kw at the wheels.

    Thanks for the replies. I really really hope that it's only the petrol slushing around and nothing serious as said here. Will keep listening to it and if the noise does not happen on a low petrol tank at least I'll know it's the petrol. If it still does it well I'll be annoyed because chances are if I don't take off my aftermarket rear sway bar before I take it to Toyota they'll use that as an excuse to not to cover me under warranty. bahh.

    When I accelerate from a standstill, like for example a red light, sometimes there is a clunk noise that happens from the rear. I opened the boot to check nothing is loose and the spare is tightly screwed in and everything is okay. Could it be the petrol in the petrol tank slushing back when I accelerate? It is a pretty audible noise once you concentrate on it.

    These dunlops are pretty damn hard. I bet I can push these tyres to 80k easily. They still have decent tread on all of them. But I want to get rid of them anyway. They're 'close' to being finished but more so like you said these tyres in the wet are the worst. They lose all grip and they really do have that feeling that they slip when the roads are wet or it's raining. Thanks everyone for the suggestions. Will look into them all :).

    So the tyres on my aurion are still from factory and I've done 72K on them. It's time for new tyres. What are the best options for 16" wheels on my prodigy? When it comes to tyres I know absolutely NOTHING about them. I don't even know how much they should cost for a decent everyday tyre. So prices, suggestions on brands etc would help me so much. thanks :)
