Yeah, be careful people. I washed the car. It will rain soon.

  2. loving the new tyres

  3. Can't complain mate. It's hard to tell though since I'm used to it and can't even remember how it was before. One thing though that it still does is hold gears when the engine is cold and it will lag to change from R to D on cold days. I'll be taking it back to get this looked at after 5000 or 3 months.
  4. The back to me looks like a Holden cruze o_0
  5. Today I finally got new tyres for the car. I settled for michelin tyres. They were $170 each but got them for $150 each. All up everything cost me $650. Got the balance and alignment done and the guy pumped up the tyres using that nitrogen stuff. Not that I believe in it but oh well. It was free of charge so why not. Very happy with these tyres. The car hugs the road and they are so quiet :). These are the tyres I got Michelin Primacy LC & Michelin Primacy LC Some guy on that site said he got them fitted for $850. I must have got a damn good deal! Good reviews too :D from everyone. Which is a plus as I did no research and just agreed to the tyre the guy said.
  6. Hi, because of work I'm now carrying equipment in my boot. Things are like work boots, 50 x 26 x 24cm toolbox and few other random equipment. I was wondering, what the best option would be to separate the boot into different sections to put everything in its own place? Because what's happening at the moment is that when turning corners everything in the boot goes for a roller coaster ride.
  7. Needs new tyres, needs wheel alignment and wheel balance. Needs a wash, clay, wax, vacuum, leather treatment, oil checked, fluids checked! Been so flat out with work haven't done any in over a month. Car is filthy as (and muddy inside and out from work boots) :\

  8. I've used the S mode in the car probably only like once or twice and that was for a few seconds. lol. If I want to slow down I have breaks and plan ahead with my speed or if I want to drive that's why I have an auto.
  9. Thread revival alright. And with a purpose too it would seem. I'll be keeping an eye out. That's just nasty. Why would you do that with your company. Looks very cheap, desperate and unprofessional.
  10. it's so hard to balance work life and social life.. ahh :(. how do you choose which one takes priority??

  12. I think it's called Narah. Can't miss it. On the corner :)
  13. Ah okay, your car looked a bit lonely parked there all by itself at that time of night. But damn was it something different. Amazing looking car in person. I was able to suss it out really well since we got a red light so we were side by side with your car and my mates(we took his prelude that night). I was with friends on Sydney road having a nargile then we went down to the maccas on Sydney road. Coming back there was a booze bus that put a detour in our route and we had to turn into a side street. And coming out of the booze bus we had to drive into that street and I looked to my right and saw your beast :D
  14. Private number, were you parked in front of Coburg Centrelink on Saturday about 12am at night?

  16. +1000000!! As soon as I saw the pictures I thought blue XR6. But I don't know why people don't like the stripes. In fact that looks awesome. If I had a blue Aurion I'd actually want to do that too. Looks really good. :)
  17. What's the best brand to buy for the stocky 16" prodigy tyres? I want tyres that are like made of glue :P

In dry only? Bridgestone Adrenalin RE001.

In wet and dry? Bridgestone GR90 or Dunlop SP Sport FastResponse.

been doing some research on the Dunlop SP Sport FastResponse. They don't come in exact size as my stocky tyres. What size can/should I get?

      They do come in 215/60R16.

  18. My transmission for the past week has been playing up. On a cold engine, when I reverse from my drive way, come to a complete stop and then put the car into D. It doesn't engage D straight away. It lags at least a 1 second or just bit more than a second to go into D. Also, up to 50KM/h on easy acceleration on a cold engine. It will not change gears at all(Kind of like a manual, when you need to change gears and you don't the car will just start revving higher and higher until you change gears and the engine relaxes). Once I hit 50KM/h the engine just starts revving higher and higher and the gears don't change until I do a hard press of the accelerator on a cold engine and then it initiates a gear change. I had my fluid changed and also my transmission computer was changed to the new one under warranty. Before I call the dealer to book it in, I'd like to get some idea what it can be so I know what's going on at least.
  19. Far out, that really is a longer start than usual. Wonder what if can be. Oh yeah, nice watch too. Show off :P
  20. 22m might be 'extreme' for sportivo. But IMO is perfect for the more 'sloppy' like suspension setup in the non sports models.
  21. Thanks for that man. Sorry, I didn't even think of looking in this thread (for some reason) and started doing a search. The tips look almost identical, except the sportivo looks really rusted/burnt out.
  22. I've looked for the picture of your spark plug from the sportivo but can't find it. Would you be able to find that as well so we can view both spark plugs side by side? :). I'll also be changing mine at 90,000km and at the same time will be changing the coolant fluid. oh yeah, one more thing. you didn't tell us which spark plugs you used :P
