  1. Hey mate, are these the same tyres: http://www.carsales.com.au/Tig/UI/PagePopu...tsrc=allcarhome http://www.carsales.com.au/Tig/UI/PagePopu...tsrc=allcarhome How much were they? Are they genuine Toyota wheels and for the Aurion or were these originally for another car like TRD?
  2. I gave the interior a full detail today. I usually do a once over inside but this time I went full out. I used Meguires leather cleaner and used heaps, the amount of crap that came out of the seats was amazing! I went through two micro fibre clothes because the first once just went filthy and black after rubbing in the leather cleaner. Now the car smells like new and the seats shine and are nice and slippery. Not sticky or anything. I amorall'd all the dash and trim and then I gave a vacuum for like 45 minutes. I think I took like half an inch of carpet off from vacuuming so much haha! Then I used Oust anti-bacterial surface spray into the aircon vent under the glove box, then sprayed all the carpets with it. The car smells and looks like it came out of the factory. I'm in love with it now, I wanted to take my shoes off goes inside :P. I still need to detail the outside of the car though but didn't bother as its still not bad and it's going to be raining in Melbourne according to the weather reports so don't want to bother. :D
  3. Oh man, that is immaculate, silver looks ****ing HOT!!! Congratulations!
  4. +1. Silver stays clean, hides marks, scratches swirls very good, and even as a daily you won't look at it twice if its dirty because from even a metre from the car it looks immaculate (if it gets cleaned often and stays somewhat clean)! By the way, hows shiny chrome look on silver? Two days ago on the freeway going to work stuck in morning peak. A immaculate looking silver ford, tyre shine and all was cruising next to me in bumper to bumper traffic. The guy had put chrome around some areas like fogs, windows, front etc and I think it made it look effing hot! Your take guys?
  5. Yay, another silver boy! Welcome to the silver club mate. Silver shiiiiiiines when done properly. I seen one today, I can tell he guy just detailed it. It caught my eye! Was amazing:)
  6. You lucky *****!! I got mine with 59,000K and $24,000. The only extras mine came with was Tinted windows, rear Toyota spoiler, Toyota Aurion floor mats and metallic paint. Your price sounds much much better!
  7. OFF = ***** bass HIGH = Really good bass, but its annoying because every time you speed up and slow down the volume increases and decreases. Even after dropping 20KM/h or speeding up another 20KM/h
  8. Have you been looking for a Prodigy yet? Around what prices are they selling at the ones you are looking at?
  9. Oh okay, Fair enough. But then, how did the dealer come to the conclusion that it was the ECU and not something else? Did you tell him or did he say its the ECU himself?
  10. About 30minutes ago I was driving down Moreland Rd and an Aurion came out from the side street coming into Moreland Rd. I only got a glimps of it but damn was it HOT! It like a lime green colour, looked dumped and sexy ***** rims on it. It was close to the Moreland Rd And Melville Rd intersection where the Safeway petrol is. Is it anyone here? I nearly had an accident trying to get a look of it while driving past at 60K at night, haha. That thing was hot!
  11. What do you mean all three of you got a ticket? And if you pay at the post office, nothing else will come in the mail. Once its paid off its done and dusted.
  12. Whaaaaaat? You gotta be kidding me?! How did you manage to get the dealer to do that? What did you say/do, so I can copy I asked my dealer about the gear changes, and before I could even finish my sentence he interrupted me and said its because its drive by wire! So what did you have to say or do to get it updated?
  13. Don't worry, my Aurion is the same. At 61,000K with the aircon on there is a a good vibration happening, with it off its less.
  14. Very nice man. Black on black FTW.
  15. Well you are going to have to make a compromise somewhere. Either run the heater on with your windows down a bit, use the A/C to de-humidify the cabin, or live with the condensation that can build up, even when using anti-fog coatings. Or you can stop breathing. That's where most of the moisture in the air comes from in a car environment. I think your right. I'm just going to try everything I can to get that moisture out. And you are correct, I should stop breathing :P. It literally does help from fogging up the car. Fogging up the windows is only good when you are parked in an empty parking lot with a girl
  16. are you checking the radiator for water - regularly topping it up because you could have an issue with you heater core leaking I regularly check all fluids, parts, hoses, etc at least weekly and everything is on the levels it should be. Nothing suss.
  17. What I did. I found a brand new (and busy) BP servo and filled my car up full tank of BP Ultimate. Best you can put in your car. It's good because its new which means new petrol tanks underground that are not contaminated or rotting away like older servos, and busy is good as well because it means fuel gets used quick and new batches always come around. Since then I swear my car is running so much better. On cold starts my car would have a really really high smell of burnt fuel coming from the exhaust. Now its just a very faint smell of fuel. I've also continued to use BP after ditching Shell V-power. DJk, what would you recommend for injector cleaner for the Aurion?
  18. I want to avoid doing this at all costs man. I really don't want to use the extra fuel to run the heater and aircon. Huge waste of money when I just want the heater.$$.
  19. Are you serious? Damn it!!!!!!! Thats the last thing you would want on your air con fan to have an oily fan. Dust would stick to it like ****! Are you sure that the Glen20 isn't the same? I only got oust because because it smelt much better then Glen20.
  20. Awesome, thanks man. Will try that. Haven't had time yet. So busy with work and running around for mum as she's feeling not so well lately.
  21. Thanks a million guys. Made me feel better. I seriously love this car even more after reading this AND after taking her down the Freeway tonight. It's such a good car all round. B)
