  1. It is a proper race car, rather than modifying a street car directly and prove you dun need a very powerful engine to race, just a light weight car how much per car to build? I like the Individual throttle body Do you have any racing videos and more information about this motorsport?
  2. i dun do it myself, I recommend you to pay somebody to do it and seems to me you are new to it, it is not $$ anyways, and you can search in youtube for procedures
  3. looking good indeed, feel more "complete"
  4. i have done it twice, costs $80 each time.. but I think you might need to check your pad first.. check youtube for DIY, you need a bleeding kit.. ZRE needs 1 Litre of fluid
  5. Fun = Fast and furios Fun = Funding for a car Fun = Comfort for family Fun = Get away from Police Fun = Driving a vintage car Fun = slow and safe Fun = Luxury And these fun factor changes upon our age. 18+ might like speed, but 40+ like family and luxury, and 20+ is in between
  6. very hot, what makes you want to buy this car, how much have been paid for the car and delivery
  7. any particular reason why you choose ACRE for brake pads? I dun know much about this brand, what is your comments on them
  8. what pads are you using on the coming track day on those calipers? and I bet you will run on street tyres for your first run on this car?
  9. how heavy is the AC? Do you use your car as a daily? what happen to summer and raining. AC serve its purpose
  10. I'm leaning towards Punchbowl if the car park is not that bad/can fit us all (Syd boys please confirm). There's about a dozen of us going. :) I am ok with that
  11. waiting to go to eastern creek next week, playing rfactor now to practise the track Also, time to look up for smash repair to repair my front engine cover from scratches I start to like FD2 type R more and more
  12. You are fast, man, Do you have a video of your PB? I have tried to watch that video a few times, it is very hard to load the video up Good pick on KU36, they are fast and cheap, and I believe they are faster than my re002... What was your old car? Please also let me know the cause of blown gasket? 4AGE is supposed to be very reliable engine
  13. if you have not get them, get the AD08 instead from tirerack.com I am currently tracking with re002, it is not that heat resistent. Once heat up, it lost 1 to 2 seconds per lap
  14. Digging from the old posts
  15. listen to dorifto. He is the Master of Winton in his old AE92, you can search his old posts for all the advices
  16. no turbo and 150kw flat 4 (not inline 4), not bad, how come GT is lighter and cheaper? and cost around $23K AUD, not bad
  17. me 2, I just wax it (not my style, too lazy in cleaning the car these days)
  18. Guys, I am not kidding about road quality, we need to set our expectation and preparation, none of use would want to damage our cars looking at previous post The map does not show the route, is this the route and exaction location where we meet.. There might have no phone reception there (I was there years ago), so I have to put exact location in the GPS http://maps.google.com.au/maps?saddr=57+Roberts+Road,+Greenacre,+New+South+Wales&daddr=Wisemans+Ferry&hl=en&ll=-33.441899,151.007595&spn=0.113018,0.264187&sll=-33.479277,150.664101&sspn=0.224793,0.528374&geocode=FZi1-v0d1BEBCSlZqeSDmbsSazFQTl7mZ30BEw%3BFfuuAv4dZ-7_CClLZvXUvkENazHwSDMWaH0BBQ&vpsrc=6&mra=ls&t=m&z=13
  19. Sorry to ask, is the road full tarmic in the trip? I dun want gravel road at all..
  20. After refunding, the total is $300, not $500 125 per pair, I need 1 pair, they charge me 110 for alignment, and 75 labour, total is $300
  21. Pedders camber pin done today at the front. Total $300 include labour (was $500) Maximum front camber is -2.5, I set to -2.2 No change rear camber already, bit suprised it was around -1.2 after lowering the car.. wheels feel lighter when driving on the street because of less tyre contact, will lower the tyre pressure for street driving to reduce tyre wear.. Also, DBA has produced slotted brake rotor for our corollas, price at $125 disc, no need to got for RDA which prices at $270.. Winton is such as twisty circuit, the car has to be set up for more oversteering for those hair pins, aim to do around 1:50 to 1:52 for my first time
