  1. Errr where does the intercooler come into this?
  2. TWICE! lol Mine was done in a day from standard to s/c'ed. This includes doing the master cylinder and remote reserviour. But we had all the bits ready (kinda :P)
  3. Also depends on the type of battery. Deep cycle ones can be left for ages, ie half a year and still be able to start on first go. :) I dont like the disconnected thing as I lose all the settings in the headunit. I'd much rather buy a cheap, small trickle charger and just leave that on it for the duration.
  4. Out of curiousity have you actually heard the equipment. Working off reviews may be good for a lot of things but audio is very very very subjective. What 1 person or even hundreds likes doesnt mean you will like it. One of the best in the world may not sound better than other or even cheaper alternatives to your ears. Its always best to listen to the speakers and make your own judgement.

    swap car

I dont know. At 105k it is at the point of a very major service which could be costly!! It is a higher spec car with more power but your's is younger in terms of km even if they are the same age..
  6. Mmmmmmmm!!!! I would have to disagree heaps! No offence to anyone running some of those equipment but some of it are "generic" branded products. If you google "option audio" you only get australian pages even though australia is probably one of the smallest car audio markets out there. Think about why that might the case. I would use "tried and tested" equipment.
  7. The pain with turbo i routing the exhaust gases to part of the engine bay with enough room to fit the turbo and other assorted lines in the camry. I guess you could probably have a low mount turbo. Tony the Tiger who owns a 550+ hp monster camry said to use a "disco potato" (Garret GT28R). This is a realitively small turbo commonly used in the SR20 motors but with the gases our 3L V6s make it will make full boost nice and low in the rev range.
  8. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TRD-Superch...sQ5fAccessories I know this one has ended but this is the kit you can use. It is none of the ones you listed because this kit isnt made anymore. You'll need to go 2nd hand.
  9. hmm s15 being good projectors? The cut off from them isnt that good.... It still produce quite a bit of glare... You should really look at European ones.... M3s, X5s, CLKs, Porsche, RX300s all are way more superior. And I have seen the cut off for the TRD Aurions and they seemed to be fine if HIDs were fitted in them.
  10. I've had the charger on mine for nearly a year and havent had an issue with the engine either. The auto gearbox wasnt happy about it and was getting sick though. But from the looks of your dyno, you've got a manual. :) We did change to the colder iridium spark plugs when we put the charger on though.

    camber kit

On the print out they gave you, what did the camber part say. They wouldnt have adjusted it but there would be a reading there.
  12. Holy crap, I reckon 20000k or 30000k will do the job just right !!! It'll look HOT! None of this blue business! :P ps. just joking :P BUT i would actually think about getting a set just to see what it actually looks like if they had them in my bulb type.

    camber kit

No I didnt mean that. Ok the the 2 bolts that goes through those holes circled in green holds your hub to the suspension. (I know yours dont look like that but it'll do for this). First loosen both of those bolts a little bit. Now you will be able to move the hub a bit. In your case, you'd want to pull the top of the hub outwards. Then tighten all those bolts up again. NOTE: This is only if you actually have a negative camber problem and not a toe problem. AND if thats too hard, go to an alignment shop and ask them to look at that for you. They will actually do it on the machine and adjust it for you.
  14. A good easy way to fix it is to use some electrical tape and tape up the top part of the light assembly so the bulb ends dont accidentally touch the metal up top. I had the problem because I tried to fit a bulb that was too big.
  15. Check the bulb to see if its actually shorting out to the bulb holder.
  16. What I did was to strip a bit of the wire (without cutting the wire!) and solder the other wires on to each of those. Then tape them up. If you need to remove them, just cut it/ unsolder it and wrap them up again. And halogens have cutoffs too. Just not as defined but it's still there slightly. You will be able to see it if you park in front of a white wall. (not directly but a couple of metres away.
  17. When I first put the Rear sway bar on, I had a set of King superlows with the stock shockies on. The superlows did their job with making the car sit lower and was stiffer but the cornering ability didnt really change dramatically until the rear sway bar. I remember on a cruise from Sommerset to the Wivenhoe, with long sweeping corners, the car handled awesome. I was following a Mini (NA version) but it was keeping up. I sure i would have been left behind very fast if it wasnt for the RSB.
  18. I have the whiteline rear sway bar installed and its definitely the mod that will dramatically improve the handling of the car. There is a lot less understeer and even a tickle of oversteer when pushed hard. TRD makes one too but you'll have to get that from the states and probably second hand too. I've also got a tower strut bar for the front, but I have to admit, I installed it for the asthetics than performance and I had one :P. I've got the TRD one which designed with the supercharger in mind in terms of clearance. It probably does make a difference but I didnt see a huge improvement, but that may be because i'm running coilovers as well. This you will have to go through america, and probably best to speak to Adam if you are serious about it.
  19. Yup thats exactly what I did. Make sure you have the positive and negatives right because LED's only work 1 way. And if you are really motivated, i'd upgrade those leds too as it isnt bright enough to light the whole ring up. And I hope you have somehow adjusted the cut off if they are the ebay american ones!
  20. That picture the TS-01. :P And just remember with the 215s its going to make your tyres bulge out a little more and I think is the largest you can go with the stock width rims.
  21. Higher end Falkens are actually good eg fk452. But the lower ziex ones are quite shoddy.
  22. I've got the whiteline sway bar for my Gen4. Definitely the best upgrade for the handling of the car by a long shot!
  23. Thats HOT!! But thats direct injection motor. Where is this "super charger" business as per badges?!
  24. My car's lowered 5.5cms and its still sitting 110mm off the ground and have plenty of clearance at the guards. I think the thing you can still lower it as much as you like but if you do lower it more than 5cm you will need to get a mod plate which I personally think is a good idea. Just think of all those people driving down the street with their wheels negatively cambered heaps and "can't" turn corners very well because they are too low and the tyres will scrub the guards. These are the cars that will hit a mid corner bump, lose it and run into someone or something. Engineers won't pass this.
  25. lol sorry didnt notice the flash. :P Hope I was behaving myself. :P
