Where: You'll have to go second hand from America and be prepared to pay about US$2k+ for the kit and then add shipping and customs of about AUD$1k. How: Dave, aka supatouring would be the person to speak to as he was about to s/c a gen5.5 before he got his current car. For our RHD cars you'll need to modify/move the brake master cylinder as the supercharger pulley sits right there. I think there are extra things that needs to be done to the Gen5 compared to the gen4s. At 4psi you should be getting roughly 150kw atw using the stock ecu. You can get more if you get a piggy back + tuning. You wont need to upgrade anything other than maybe some colder spark plugs. At 5.5psi you'll be getting roughly about 190kw atw. You will need to put a 190lph fuel pump, upgraded injectors, a fuel line mod and a piggy back computer. With a good tune, everything will still be fine. Anything above 5.5psi, intake temperature is begining to be a problem and thus a case of deminishing returns from the extra boost. It also increasing the risk of detonation and knock sensors blowing. However, too much power also means that it'll be very difficult to cleanly launch the car off the line. At 4psi, wheel spin in first is a big problem already!
