  1. Ahh - would've been inside stuffing my face with Macca's lol Looooooooooooooooooooooooong day! Hahahahah thanks, we might have to do a comparison on Sunday Getting pretty close now Don't forget the UHF's if you've got one guys - for those that do we'll try and spread you through the pack a bit so that those who don't aren't all stuck together, don't want anyone getting lost! benji and I went and checked it all out again last night and it looks good, the one nasty patch we had a bit of trouble with has settled but is still not brilliant, definitely passable though (for lowered cars as well) and there'll be plenty of warning to slow right down to go over it :)

Thanks for the clarification - more than happy to do it then :)

Totally agree with you there dwee - would be more than happy for any one of that group to represent Victoria :) I am happy to do it but am not sure if I am active enough (I have been getting on during work hours where I can, but it'd mostly be at night/on weekends for me) or knowledgeable enough. That said is having at least one female moderator a good idea?
  4. Just signed up as a supporter :) Finally got around to it!

From my point of view its supporting the club to help keep it going, promote to other people etc Plus I'm looking forward to the sticker in the mail :)

Congrats on the reappointment Daryl and what you have said akes perfect sense - is there a moderator currently for Victoria?? I'm happy to help out but I am by no means a car expert, and living in Bendigo I can't get to all of the meets, so IMO someone based in Melbourne would be better suited to the role.
  6. Looking awesome!! :D I am totally getting the name of the Ebay seller from you and ordering one too I'm thinking the colour green for the Camry but I'm still not sure, blue looks so good!! (thank goodness we have a separate PC here that has its own internet - works filter blocks certain image sites and I just see the words "Posted image" :()
  7. Great job Steven - really looks the goods now :D Loving that Harrier badge too, very cool!
  8. So sorry to see this - agree with the sentiments of everyone here, there are too many of these ar5eholes out there who hit peoples cars and just drive way. They will definitely get theirs though, what goes around definitely comes around! Am happy that you've found some positives though in getting things replaced :) Hope the panel beater does a really great job, can't wait to see it back at its best :D
  9. Looking great Johnnie - really sets off the front end :D Can't wait to check it out in person on Sunday
  10. Haha thank you tash :D. I'll come one day :P. I'm just being lazy now Lol!! You are most definitely being lazy What are you doing Sunday? Come up our way and have a cruise - its going to be an awesome day!
  11. Hahah, no worries Simon. All the best for the wedding!
  12. Nice!! Hooray to have been spotted :D Glad it looks clean from a distance - actually pretty dirty at the moment, rain got to it <_< I wanted to ask if you were parked at Essendon train station yesterday?? We were down in Melb for Deal or no Deal auditions, so car was parked at Ess train station from 7am to about 5:30pm. Then stopped at Calder outbound for tea :D Can't believe I didn't spot you though :( (although by that time I had been up since 4:45 [very rare occurence for me] and was far from my observational best lol) Paintballing whilst Go Karting sounds epic :D If only it were true.. Sounds good about you guys meeting up to travel - just remember it is the SECOND Kyneton exit that you need to get off coming from Melbourne, the green sign says Kyneton/Heathcote. You'll hit a roundabout and you want to go straight, then its the first driveway on the right (about 50mt off the exit of the roundabout) into the VicRoads. We will be parked around the back half of the car park as there is a big green shed that will be perfect for all the 'rollas to line up in front of, and long angle parks for those of us with the bigger cars :D
  13. I heard these are pretty good... Its got a Life Time warranty (while the seller exists on ebay) which can come in handy Thanks Ronnyboy - they looked pretty decent to me compared to a lot of the other sellers on there. And even if they died after two years for $100 odd it wouldn't be the worst thing I've wasted money on! Plus the free shipping was appealing :)
  14. Awesome, looks like that'll be the way to go then :D
  15. ..... That is epic win :D Now if only the grille were real... And I think I've gotta get me some eyelids!
  16. No worries Troy - can only do what you can do :) Getting pretty excited though, and I totally know what you mean Pete, its crept up on me too!
  17. Thanks Adamsy, that makes perfect sense :) So for someone like myself who does country driving I'd probably be looking at getting 6000k and a 35w HID? So on low beam you'd have a nice white sort of spread in front of you, and then high beam would light up a larger area quite well. I have been looking at this auction on Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270608247224&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT Or can anyone recommend a better seller?? Then I better work out what parkers to buy to replace those as well :)
  18. Hey Lee, haven't seen any for weeks but there are some young ones around - they're the kind that can only jump a foot or so off the ground so they just splatter on the lower portion of your bumper. Shouldn't be any issues with them getting into the radiator. At any rate I know most of us will probably hit the car wash soon after! :D We're gunna go for a run again Thursday night so I'll update you all on the bugs :)
  19. Oh no!!! :( At least it is repairable though. Awesome, will update the list on the first page :)
  20. Go Karting is awesome fun - although the track here is quite small compared to what the Melbourne guys will be used to, but its still lots of fun, and the weather will be warm enough for them to have their outdoor section open :D Yep definitely a full tank of petrol, that way you've got plenty to get back to Melbourne. For us in Bendigo its roughly a 300km round trip, so its probably around the 400km mark for the Melbourne guys, or a bit more. There are about 16 confirmed and then a few +1s so I think the number is close to 20, though I reckon there will be a few who haven't posted that meet up with the others and drive up for it :)
  21. Discovered a scratch that extends across my drivers and passengers doors Thankfully its light and will come out, going to get Panels and Performance here to do a cut for me I think as there are a few I haven't been able to get out.. If its not too expensive I'll get it done this week and then polish and wax on Saturday!
  22. That looks fantastic :D I'm with Mick, definitely wish I had this kind of talent! It needs a track background though heheheheh
  23. Definitely - although at the same time now it means we have competition!! Although I guess that just drives me to do more and make the car even better again lol
  24. Excellent news :D Perfect day for lots of pictures and a lovely drive. Going to go and check out the run one more time late this week just to make sure its all A-OK (and if not, we can adjust which roads we use) and then we'll be set! Also need to confirm the booking at One Tree Hill pub :) I think that's about it.. So remember to bring your UHF's, sunny's, your awesome bright and bubbly selves and plenty of cameras :D Oh and for those that want to stick around a bit longer we'll have a Go Karting session and suss out some other photo locations :)
  25. Heheh +1 benji, finally spotted one of your earlier spots! The white Camry Rich-06 was out at Lake Weeroona Sat morning, doesn't look too bad but I dunno about the high-rise spoiler on the Gen 6's, doesn't seem quite right like it did on a Gen 5 *shrugs* I reckon he's the only car I've seen with one of Toyota's other wheel choices on it (other than Kappas!).
