  1. Looking good! When are you going to pull your finger out and come to one of our meets??
  2. Hey and welcome wanga :) The ZRE looks great - good pick-up on the buddy clubs, they really really suit it! Good luck with the lowering, hopefully the next lot of springs will sort your issues out :)

    AJW's Yaris YRX

Welcome :D Congrats on the YRX Yaris, they look pretty cool! And no shortage of inspiration around here for mods to be done
  4. No worries - there is a track day planned for the end of March (so we can't have a meet on the last Sunday of the month as per usual) and then Easter is at the end of April so we might have to have a combined March/April meet up.
  5. Yeah you should! :D You should come to one of our monthly meet-ups :)
  6. You need someone to do a photochop for you :) I like the eyelids, but I'm thinking a white grille would look good, although like Zeinheiger said it'd probably get a bit lost and not really stand out. Whatever you do though the car looks great, its got enough gloss to blind everyone :D I just looked at my car in the car port this morning, waiting for the chance to give it a wash, debadge and take some new pictures with the new LED lights in :)
  7. Very nice photos - what a really nice clean Corolla, loving the rims! :D And that is the best graffiti wall mural I think I have ever seen, pretty cool backdrop B) (not to mention the mad reflections you're getting on the rear end there!)
  8. Can someone also please shed some more light as to exactly which parts are needed? I know the bulbs are H7 and you need the ballasts and wires but what else? What lumens and what K rating? I'd like to do this in the near future but want to make sure I get the right parts for it. Also, what about high beam and low beam?? When I do it I'll make sure I take plenty of pictures so I can put up a proper How To guide.
  9. Fair enough on the spoiler - I think I do remember you saying that earlier. It looks pretty good without it at any rate :D Lol, and there's no shortage of bumpy roads in Sydney! No offense but man was I glad to be back in Victoria Not cool about the scrubbing though, better get it booked in then and raise it up a bit, otherwise could roll the guards? Though I'd probably just raise it that little bit, will still look great and give the handling you want :) Hrrrm.. I am conflicted. I would really like to see rims on there to complete the look, but getting cheap tyres goes against the safety side of my brain lol Although the tyres on mine were "only" $275 each.
  10. Nice! Looking awesome Adam and totally understand raising it a little bit, mine will have to be the same once I do it, darn sh!tty country roads <_< It looks great with the GTP kit as well, are you going to get the spoiler as well?
  11. Looking great Pete!! Will definitely be cruising in style :D
  12. Well it all depends - if it is deep enough and has cracked the bumper from the back then its probably not such a bad idea to replace it. At least these days bumpers are plastic so you don't have to worry about rust, although you can get oxidisation into the paint and further damage it. As a rough ballpark a new front bar is around $200-300, then add the same again for painting and fitting, so around $500-600 from a reputable panel beater. If the bar isn't cracked and damaged then just go for the option where they'll sand it back, fill in the crack and then repaint, which is usually still a couple of hundred dollars. Shop around and get some quotes and see what you think :) Whereabouts are you? I'm sure some members are probably able to suggest good panel beaters.
  13. *sigh* Its so nice to dream :) Although I must admit if I did own it the two things it would be getting immediately would be a respray and an interior retrim. It would be bloody fun to drive around :D
  14. Question: What bulbs do people use for the licence plate lights? Mine are really dull and would like some nice crisp white ones. Is there a particular seller on Ebay? Thanks :)

Thanks Daryl - pics won't load at work (darn filter, it blocks some image hosting sites) so I'll check out the results at home. Any problems with them since?

      None at all. Working flawlessly.

      Excellent :)

  15. It's pretty depressing but you're both right - I have already resigned myself to the fact that my next car is more than likely going to be an automatic :( At least like you say Zeinheiger with all the improvements that are being made a lot of auto's drive more like a manual these days anyway. Martinj, how do you know that only 2% of Camry's are manual, do you have access to sales figures?? I am itching to find out how many Gold Camry Sportivos were made, and of those how many were manual.
  16. Any word on whether the new Camry and new Aurion will have manual transmissions?? I doubt the Aurion will given it didn't this generation, but hoping at least the Camry Sportivo might still have it as an option.
  17. Thank goodness its hump day and nearly lunch time - getting to the downhill slide to Friday :)

  18. Very nice wheels Andrew :D Can't wait to see these on the Cam, and even better, I can check it out in person again in a couple of months Best of luck with the plans to go to 6psi too, I know you'll get it done :)
  19. Heheh, cheater :P Oh Benji - I spotted that fail XR6 with your wheels again last night :( It was at Golden Square safeway. If there weren't so many witnesses we would have put a few scratches on the wheels Get your partner in crime and just put it on bricks. LOL! I think that could be quite easily arranged..
  20. Heheh, cheater :P Oh Benji - I spotted that fail XR6 with your wheels again last night :( It was at Golden Square safeway. If there weren't so many witnesses we would have put a few scratches on the wheels
  21. The suede looks excellent Steve If it were me I would cover the lower portion to really cap it off and make it stand out, and it wouldn't look out of place with the rest of the interior because basically you're sticking to just the "accent" pieces being retrimmed. The colour of the material looks really nice in the photos too, can't wait to check it out in person at the annual meet this year :D
  22. That wagon looks smoking hot - I bet it turns a few heads! Best of luck with the interior, personally I would go with the one colour theme, so if you've got beige in the rears then the front seats should match, but that's just me. I'm sure whatever you decide to do will look great! Please keep the pictures coming :D
  23. Noice :D Although please tell me it wasn't cheapened by having the Paul De Araugo "Wow factor" plate frames on it still?? I will have to keep my eyes open for all these nice Toyota's you're spotting! I just keep seeing that same stock green Camry sportivo around, well, there's two of them actually. One has personalised green plates and a sunroof and the other one doesn't.
  24. Heheh nice - what colour was it? Don't think I've seen this one around..
  25. Very nice Rowan! Now if only my Mum's looked like this one lol
