Hey William - I'll post a few I love: Ultimate Quik Detailer, fantastic for spot cleaning after a wash and preserves your coat of wax. Also great for going over the whole car, leaves it very glossy! Non-Acid Wheel cleaner, again great for spot cleaning (or leave it on and hose it off) with a microfibre cloth and safe for all wheel finishes Ultimate Protectant, goes over all plastic/vinyl trims inside and out, smells great and leaves them shiny and UV protected No Smear Glass Cleaner, wonderful at cleaning glass and doesn't leave any streak marks, plus its ammonia free so safe for tinted windows. Their new glass cloth (green in colour) is great too. There are heaps of others I love but it depends on how "into" detailing you want to get, things like Ultimate Compound, ScratchX, SwirlX, their wax, Ultimate Wash and Wax, the list goes on! They have a fabulous range and are very easy to use, I've had more success with their products than other brands I've tried. Can often get them on sale at places like Super Cheap Auto and Repco, but the dealbusters.com.au always has a 20% off coupon for Autobarn Bendigo so I reckon there might be other stores on there as well.

Hahah, sounds awesome Mick Yep - tentative date for the meet this way is Sunday the 27th of Feb. I'm up for whatever in Jan, the 23rd we are going on our recon run for that cruise so just don't make it then We are having our housewarming here Jan 29th (welcome to come if you fancy a drive!) so maybe don't make it Jan 30 cos I might be too hungover to drive rofl Australia Day doesn't sound like a bad idea though seeings its a public holiday and all :D Altho oops just read that might be a track day... Hmm.. go with the 30th of Jan then and I'll make sure I stop drinking early enough to drive the next day heheh It's such a pity The Garage Cafe isn't open on Sunday's, would have quite happily driven down to eat with you all there! What about another good pub/restaurant somewhere in Melb and we can go have another photoshoot under the bridge or something?? Just a catch-up meet and not actually drive anywhere too much.

Lol, at least you guys are in Melbourne to spot! I'd be impressed if one of you spots me :P Although it could happen on some of my day trips down there heheh

Thanks for a fabulous night all :D Got back to Bendigo about 11:20pm, felt like such a loooooooooong drive back. Next time I can come to one of these I think I'll stay the night instead. Duy please thank your parents for a lovely meal, the chippies and nuggets were awesome! Everyone was definitely well fed and it was a great place to just sit and chatter away. So I'm really really glad I made the effort and went down for a catch up :) One of us will have to plan some kind of get together in January, the meet up my way won't be ready until probably Feb although maybe earlier - thinking a jaunt out to One Tree Hill pub here and then a couple of places for photography ;) There is a nice lake here otherwise there are some good shots to be had in front of railway yards/tracks too.

Had a dream run down the freeway and is now massively early lol

Okey dokey leaving Bendy in about 10 minutes :) Puts me at the Vicroads car park around 6:40 but apparently its pretty windy on the freeway so will be taking it easy. See ya'll soon!

As long as you have chicken salt I'm happy :D Glad I've kicked this headache and fatigue cos I was a bit worried I wouldn't be able to make it, but I'm feeling pretty good. Will probably just leave about 9:30-10 to head back again. No rain too which is awesome :D Oh and to "pre-warn" you all, my car will look a bit Batman-ish due to the custom locust guard on the front end, but boy has it done the trick and kept the buggers out. If you like it when you see it I can give you the details of the guy who made it for me :)

Hey Reece, I'd be keen for a set of eyelids if you can tee that up for me :) How much were they? And how easy are they to take on and off? Only reason I'm asking is because my headlight protectors do a pretty good job, especially with all the country driving I do. Exhausts are looking awesome, let me know how they go too, might have to get a single set lol As for keeping them clean, are they stainless steel? I know its technically a kitchen product but Brasso should do the trick in keeping them clean.

That'd be a good time to get there Tash. There's always someone that comes late, but still.. the earlier the better :P Johnnie is always the first, I think.. lol. Anyway, I'll try be there at about 7pm as well. Depending on whether anyone else wants to meet up north/west before hand. This'll be a good night! Cool as, I'll leave Bendigo about 5pm then and that'll definitely put me in the VicRoads car park by 7. But if you decide to meet up a bit earlier and you're on that side of town let me know and I'll get down there a bit earlier ;)

Ahh!! Why didnt someone just say Ballarat Road :D I know where that is - usually I keep going on the Calder and get off at the Keilor Road exit I believe (I tried getting off earlier and it just confuses me), and then I get on the Western Ring and then take the first exit left which must be that McIntyre Road, cos then I go up and over a bridge and follow it to the end and turn left. I think there is a Bunnings on the corner?? Any more landmarks, should I be turning right at those traffic lights? Looking forward to coming down, got a weekend totally to myself which is great and I can drive home again the same night. Better be no bloody locusts on the freeway in case I don't put my locust guard back on.. As for food I'm a bit of a fussy critter, so just potato cakes and chips please :) Maybe a couple of nuggets. P.S I am feeling very flattered too about all these comments that I'm coming down Am really really looking forward to catching up with you all again, was 'worried' there wouldn't be another time before X-mas!

Hey guys, seriously thinking about travelling down for this one seeings its a Saturday night - just wouldn't stay too late so I could drive home again the same night. Whereabouts is Sunshine VicRoads?? I know Essendon not too bad but Sunshine is a different kettle of fish although I know its not that far away. Otherwise if I got to town a bit earlier in the arvo could I meet up with some others earlier to get me there? Bit worried about the food poisoning though

Woah.. bendigo is so far Are there AWESOME kebabs up there? if so... who's up for a massive Melbourne cruise up to Bendigo!?? Hahah well there is a pretty good Turkish shop here, quite a few people here at work like it, bit too out there for me (am a mega fussy eater lol). The social club here have put it on for one of the lunches and its pretty popular. Bendigo's not too bad a trip to Melb now that the Calder is all freeway, takes me about an hour and a half to get to Essendon. I am working with Nathan (cos he lives in Sunbury) to plan a cruise up this way for late Jan/Feb next year, just working out where we'd like to go :)

Groovy piccies :) If I was closer I'd make the effort to get to most of these.. But, I'll try and plan to stay over at my aunt's one Friday night or otherwise just drive home at like midnight lol

Thanks for that reply Davo - only 'problem' I have is that I have to go to a car wash (where bucket washing isn't permitted) to wash the car, and then I can come home and use a bucket to wash the wheels, so I have to do it in reverse. Damn water restrictions. I very much like that idea of using ultimate compound or something on them though and then wax, excellent. Hoping to have a full weekend to do another full detail prior to Christmas so I will give it a try then! Looking forward to moving shortly (although there will be no lawn) so I can have a little shed and sort out all my detailing gear properly (currently all in a box)
